Money talks.
Place your bets right up here.
The numbers start with double zero.
Then they will go all the way up to thirty-six.
What you see here gives you a good variety.
You can make bets on odd or even.
The first or second half.
Red or black.
This soft cotton bedspread,
Clings to me like comfortable armor,
Shielding from the world outside my solace,
My one haven,
This diamond in the rough,
In the metaphorical minefield called family life.
Place your bets please..
Who really holds the winning hand,
What do you gain from trust,
Who do you stand to loose,
You or them,
Same old tricks new disguise
Ace of Guilt and the Jack of Deception
Black-Jack
TRAVAIL
place your bets then roll dice twice
test the tale of death and life
call forth a need for God
plains of trust not doubt
pray tell us please
as it is
fill my
needs…
where that
sad heart bleeds
like stale sick jokes
that form the march
to raise pure white flags
in time like dark dire rhyme
lift me out of my own ways
up to the light that plays my soul

Love is a lot like gambling
You can win or you can lose
You place your bets carefully
And play the game you choose
Sometimes, you roll snakeeyes
And lose before you start
The prize you win is worthless
Just another broken heart
The dealer begins to shuffle
As he deals your final card
The hand you're dealt is nothing
And easy to discard
Sometimes, you get lucky
As you play your love roulette
You win the prize you're looking for
A prize you'll never forget
The movie sounds intriguing;
R’s the letter it’s been rated.
The reasons for the rating
On the ads are clearly stated.
The first one that is mentioned,
Not surprisingly, is sex,
Which, in cinema for grown-ups
Is what everyone expects.
The second reason’s murder.
Certain viewers seem to mind
Any violence on screen; this one
They’d likely have declined.
The final rating rationale
Surprised me – place your bets!
If sex and murder didn’t scare you,
There are cigarettes!
