Mist
Wet smoke's grey filter
colour wash cloak over tones
edits nature's hues

(Lifelong fascination for photography :))
Camera hangs around his neck.
He trusts his map to visit sites.
Intends doing full tourist thing.

A photographer of Indoor Sports
Found himself dragged through the lower courts
The hotel said
He filmed their bed
When a buxom housemaid dropped her shorts
Phlox of purple field, Bill's
photographing hidden
Phoebe, favorite bird.
Phased by nothing else, like
Pheasant flying up, he
photographs Phoebes. Next
Phalaropes, wading birds.
Imagine No poetry
No photography
No music
do we know our own worth ?
a mean streak of yellow light emits
and dimmer eyeballs entail
with a soupçon of an onion reminiscence
My son Scottie is experimenting with
Time-lapse photography results are he's a whiz
Working out so cool
A flower going by the rules
Opening up in real time like magic it is
George Bernard Shaw,
A critic with a vein of comedy and language, quite raw;
He wrote in a movable shack, he liked photography now and then,
Ladies man, died at 94, cremated and planted in his garden.
photography is an obsession of mine
love taking snaps by design
the capturing of moments that align
my passion for chasing sunshine
and seeing how its beauty imitates the divine

-A Christmas Waltz Wave-
Form:
by Max Burchett
A writer, singer and songwriter,
A crooner, a teller of tales,
A dream maker, a soul shaker and captivator,
Hoping in verse and prose he prevails.
Photography by cromaconceptovisual
there was a time, before the eye, when 'all-this' (seen) was blank...
nothing...then a spot...a knot...andt, the lens was born....imaging...
close-ups...telescopic vision...photography and medicine....so much
from something so small.....as a spot.
Form:
With photography
figurative art did flee
defeated by ego 'selfie'
Impressions took centre stage
'til 20th century abstract
became the rage
This expressive genre
still ruled the roost
until digital facility was introduced
& by AI was traduced
With just a "click" an instant pic:
All experts in photography!
The ubiquity- it makes me sick!
And makes the Art a mockery!
Take paper, pens- excuse to write:
Suddenly, all people are poets!
Even though each line is trite-
In the end, mostly...they blow it!
Camera
Digital, Artistic
Snapping, Capturing, Creating
Moment to be forever remembered
Printing, Hanging, Admiring
Pretty, Delicate
Photograph
Off with the old
Into the new
Januarys gallant attempt
To startle the Year
Except we’ve been swimming in the rain
Refashioned old shoes with stitches
Missed the right pub
Spoilt for choice
Photography at Blackfriars
Perhaps its muse time
Find my friends keys
he needs a new mojo
There's no green shoots
to our intended relationship
that's what she said
I felt alone, not so secure
leaving the situ, so assuredly set
had our meeting as a chat only
I gave my best photography, poetry and music
you were not as deep as you first poundered
although you were a Covid organiser
My photography style is you:
I hear you. I see you.
You are beautiful.
Wish me luck
On my journey.
And so it begin,
With a camera,
A little snap click
My interest begun,
Every angle requires
Precision and appreciation
Ignites my interest
In photography, in beauty
In nature, then you of course.
Blank presentations of nothing, obviously
A relationship of one, bringing a calming numb
Feelings getting better and better than before
Grab hold of that distant memory, then let go
Forgetfulness seems to be scarce as of late
Seems the memories that cause the most pain
Are the memories that won’t go away
Politics – too controversial
Religion – irreversible
Steamy-hot Romance – too fraught
Criminality – don’t wanna get caught
Photography – too much fornography
Alcohol and Drugs – Gulp! My autobiography
What’s left to write about at this late hour
~ Blooms and blossoms, fragrance and flowers
Picture taking quite an art
History has proved that so
Over the years gone by
Telescopic lenses now are all the go
Our world shows many changing shades
Greys are not for the pro
Reds and blues bring more colour
Always be careful nice and slow
Planning ahead gives advantage
Hands on to make great slideshow
People who are on a mission
Trying to build their reputation
By shooting photos of stars on vacation,
Or maybe at some exhibition.
On possessing these famous faces
They quickly run to several marketplaces
Hoping to rake in millions of transitioned president faces
Then they lay back feeling like photography aces.
Form:
There's no green shoots
to our romance
she liked Numan
I liked Howe
I feel alone now
when she planned to
leave the sit so aptly
All she had our meeting down to
was a chat
when I gave my best
of poetry and photography
and music
You were not as deep
as you made out
despite being a coordinator for Covid jabs
Someone shot a sloth-
in time-lapse photography
Descending a tree
with Charlie Chaplin movements
minus mustache,
its tail hooked over its arm like a walking stick
The eye never moved–
like a dancer's in pirouette,
sunlight flashing like a million paparazzi
Overcome by clouds-
a most un-sloth-like creature.
In new perspective I see you
Now no color spoils the view
Shadows bow to black and gray
Deeply contrast light of day
I prefer you
White and black
A pure light source
Floods your back
White streams radiate your sharp boned face
With illuminating fragile grace
