He Pestered Me For Love
He pestered me for love
To own it in bed of roses
I offered him all he wanted
But he removed all thorns
Leaving leaves and flowers
What remained was not
A bed of roses any more...

The ape was a mimic
So badger pestered him

A dog tricked the fox
And followed him to crow

This boast to a rat
Was betrayed ...by and by

Tampering with its meaning..
was a monkey...on the sly....

Persecution
Imitation is sincere,
Flattery in every line,
DH inspires passion.

Words read so similar,
Anger ignites in me,
DH pestered to frustration.

I create havoc, slinging venom
Like tossing candy in a parade,
DH pays the price for my sin....

Premium Member A Walking Stick As a Christmas Gift
There was an old man who lived in Maine,
Everyday he would complain of pain,
           Pestered everyone
           but no one dared shun
So his friends kindly bought him a cane.

I don't know if I manage a message tomorrow.
But I wish all at poetry soup
A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS....

Caterpillar
intuitive pecuilar &
glancing great gestures
peering about- i see
you whispershout
taking teeny tiny pieces
of me at a time
i'm a puzzle frazzled
can't stick together- you
can't see any better
-born to build
rebuild & bloom
just passing through
pestered perplexed-
taken out of context
is there possibly
a next best thing?...

Goodbye
Give me your goodbye
Give me away

Give me that stone cold expression of your precious face;
Give me that old, slow confession of your pestered faith

Give me swift heartbreak;
Give me quick heartache

Give me my pain.

Give me that runway;
Give me that runaway

That stumbled weak kneed;
That "why me?" God prayer

Give me your goodbye
Give me away....

Drown Drooling Mistake
wielded wits wept
bruising bounty belch
felon feelings fetched
taunted callous cleft
hoisted hurts bled
moaning mist melts

meagre metamorphoses squashed
pluming punctured prank
tolling toiled trance

masticated memory lurched
basked coup's birth
vying voluptuous verge

braced ocean breaks
drown drooling mistake?

By Blitzkrieg Blown
wet wits worn
perforating pulpy pawn
pestered passion puked
cremating clipped cruise
hoisted hankering drooled
felon fate bruised

meagre metamorphoses moaned
spurring sassy sow
gullible gifts grown

dark diminuendo birthed
dribbling crescendos fitted
rusty rhythm rusticated

felon ambiguity flown
by blitzkrieg blown.

Premium Member Grindhouse Disappointment
I often wake screaming in the dark from a nightmare,
The details of which I can never remember.
I feel cheated for having been so terrorized
By demons that seem beyond my imagining.
I expect better than that from my grindhouse existence.
If I'm to be pestered by nocturnal poltergeists
And succubi that leave me drained of life,
I’d choose to be privy to the director’s cut.
My curiosity demands no less....

Premium Member Irrelevance
Irrelevance Written: by Miracle man 5/24/2020 The Media gives us daily, a “shaggy dog” story, about Corona virus while reporting with flair. Conflicting opinions, paint some details gory, the picture is always one of gloom and despair. Never encouraging, when you’re sequestered, and into the past your mind often dwells. Hours each day feeling you’re being pestered, unpleasant news, but then, that’s what sells.

Pets Parlour
Infinitesimal, wooden, musty cages
Beautiful, multifarious birds
Silently weep and perch
Alienated from the healthy, broad environment
To satiate human desires
Materialized their freedom
A sort of sadism inflicted
Miserable existence
Their movement, delight, happiness trapped
No tree, no nest, no lakes
Howsoever gorgeous be the cage
Yet cannot replace the natural, green habitat
No joy, no chirp, no song
For wanderings long
But a pestered survival
To hopes, cheer, pleasure burial....
