I AM a
Golden girl of faith, love and hope
On a rocky path of personal growth
Dedicating my heart to finding Truth
Destined to be rejected by the matrix
Even though life came crashing down
Still I search for what matters
Shining my light despite the darkness
focusing on me
inner thoughts and emotions
putting myself right
my personal growth
a time for self-reflection
aligning purpose
let negative go
grasping life's positive
becoming happy
asking God for truth
for the power to follow him
guidance in beliefs
I’m not running from my life
I just need this moment to think
In these moments, in this open space…get a firm grip
So many challenges, so many heartbreaks
The obstacles … the major dips
But I know I must keep moving on
There’s much life to be lived.
