Premium Member ME AND MY PEEPS

A squirrel found Peeps beneath a log and hugged them in a heap;
He chirped, “These gooey yellow pals are mine—and mine alone to keep.”

Premium Member When the Sun Peeps Out

Darkness is darkest before the dawn
This time, folks say, the adage is wrong

But when the sun peeps out from behind the clouds
A cheer erupts from the expectant crowd

Wacky

This wacky,
     morning feeling
     is here again.

That amused face
in my mirror
looks ready to burst
out laughing

     when it peeps out
     and sees me
     peeping in!

I Need Some Calbaration Peeps

Never been or entered a few calibrate with me

I have never calibrated before so I am as dumb as a post

But, I think this would be fun even if we both lost

Premium Member Ere the Sun Peeps

The night sky is darkest before dawn Ere the sun peeps over the horizon, Before I have stretched or had a yawn The night sky is darkest before dawn. While the nightshades are still drawn, And the world is waiting for the risin’ The night sky is darkest before dawn, Ere the sun peeps over the horizon.

Finding Your Peeps

When you're thrown in a group
For a day or a week,
Compatriots are
The companions you seek.

You scope out the crowd
Or engage in a chat
And you know who your homies are,
Right off the bat.

It might be their style
Or their background or views,
But meeting them sure helps
Enliven a cruise.

It's possible there
Will be friendships for keeps
For you make a connection
When you find your peeps.

Peeps of Chum

To carry on the affection ,
     Came by enemy's appreciation.
And deed to afford ,
      To measure the ford.
Who take cleansing ablution of volley,
      For making them holy.
Now making us delight ,
Who never get them in sight.
Now what? The life get commotion,
      Getting always inanimation emotion.
Fantasy, fantasy deviates aisle in a day,
Still unacquainted! Whence elapse in a dark day.

Premium Member Crow Found His Own Peeps

bluejay flew in for cardinal play
crow asked if he could join the fray
this made robins angry and gray
they said it would not be okay

crow told the horse who gave a neigh
horse asked robins if crow could stay
the robins sent out a weird may day
flock of wrens flew in without delay

wrens told horse to take crow away
horse galloped off in a sashay
crow flew away to Thunder Bay
partying there with eagles gay

Poetry and My Peeps

When I see your compliments about the things that I write

You have no clue how it affects me

It gives my heart delight

When I see what you have written to me

That gives a courage to me

You have made me feel that I have a worth

And I am welcome here with you

You poetry peeps mean a lot to me!

And I Thank You for your encouragement

I hope someday I can return the love that you have given

To me!

Premium Member Tweets and Peeps In Treetops

my ears trembled
striving to understand
so I could capture the tweets and peeps
but there has been no alphabet that can
for the faerie creatures who fly from the trees
have no mouths, so do not form the same sounds
to capture the noises we hear can be done on tape
but to place them on paper? An impossibility
unless we form a new alphabet
and what bird watcher is ready to spend
that kind of time?
Okay.
Put your hand down.

Ode To Marshmellow Peeps

Marsh mellow peeps
a wonderful treat.
Yellow pink or blue
all of them stick like glue
on easter , christmas or even halloween
I like peeps and pass on jelly beans .
Some have said they can cure the common cold
others say it reminds them of yellow slime mold
what can I say ?
it doesnt matter to me either way
but personally my favorite type is
the ones you put in the microwave oven
and watch as they bubble, pop and fizz
