Imagination on hold
Just breathing
Killing pain is enough
Languishing
Mentally aware
No where near ready
Oppressive
Painkillers
Quietly
Respectively
Self serving
The
You

PAINKILLERS
today I had toothache
it was bad… nerve
gnawing bad
I took a painkiller
never take them and
now I wonder why
I never had
it feels numb
I feel relieved
and deceived
tomorrow
it will
be back

Denying
“When I deny,
All I feel is freight,
And I need some might,
Without it,
I might think to cry.
And all the crying
Lead to thoughts of dying.
Denying anything short of misapplying,
Painkillers seem like I’m retrying,
When all I’m doing is implying
And denying.”

I do not know?
Lovemaking is often well read,
Wisely, one must fear how they tread,
If you strip to bare charm
They may express alarm
And ask for painkillers instead.

Not all my wounds will heal.
Some are just too deep for that.
Sorry doesn't make things better.
I have lost more than i have won.
My head is full of broken memories.
There's no painkillers for emotion pain.
It's easy to break a heart and break trust.
But some broken things can never be mended.

Summer- embraced, like a returning friend-
from a distant land. Here warmth descends-
here, she’s standing at the green fence.
Listen- Summer’s chipping off her snack-
rain and leaves crunched, with the cracks,
incessantly- stirring a nostalgic hunger’s lack.
Summer & melancholic hopers/the night eaters
in awakened dreams that have a bygone savor
of love & loss becoming- temporary painkillers.

Sitting looking at the wall,
My mind is a blank,
To tired to think,
To tired to care,
To tired to do anything,
Please make this headache go away,
Three days it been now,
This constant thud in my head,
I need to sleep but its thud thud thud,
I close my eyes trying to drift off,
Thud thud thud,
Rubbing my temples doesn't help,
Painkillers don't work,
One thing I I haven't tried,
A dark room finally relief and sleep.

Give me not your style today :
the visceral truth, liberated
from painkillers.
Spying singles out the flesh
after the resentment of torture
to do more wrong ;
going away in yesterday
puts the life in apocalyptic shade,
the orange condoles for dark
when I lie still on flames
of sandalwood, setting the sun
bleed in blue eyes
of lonely sea. I am again
sleepwalking on salt lake ready
to draw the boundary of reasons,
the second-hand stitch for the eternal wound.
