oh yes, I am pixilated
This cannot be overstated
At least I am not still constipated
movements never premeditated
my freedom is to be celebrated

Premium Member THANKFUL FOR PARADES

Today I’m thankful for parades
reminding us something that cannot be overstated….
How every step along the road of life…
needs to be celebrated

Premium Member The Warmth of the Son

The warmth of the sun cannot be overstated.
The power of the son cannot be overstated.
The love from the sun can be felt around the world,
And so can the love from the son.

Premium Member new species of dinosaurs

In modern day times since twenty-fifteen
Fifty new species of dinosaurs have been seen
Because new places are being rapidly excavated
Excitement generated cannot be overstated

Premium Member The Sun

The sweet smart warmth of the sun
cannot be overstated.

Photosynthesis happily demonstrated

Wonderful vitamin D source
Never overrated.

God's love beaming down,
carefully orchestrated

Billie Eilish

Ocean eyes and
billowing, bulging
covering: the most
vulnerable parts of you
unspoken
so somberly sad
in the most
curious places
your style is wild
and your flare overstated
your smile may lie
all she wants
but your eyes tell
the truth
to mine.

Premium Member A WALT DISNEY INSPIRED BLESSING

Today’s blessing takes its inspiration from Walt Disney
whose wisdom can’t be overstated..
Just look at all the joy and laughter
In the wonderful world that he created:

May we be blessed to understand….
The answer to this aging quiz…
That growing old is not our choice
But how we choose to grow old is.

You Are a Nice Guy But

You’re a nice guy but,
No veneer toughness to call your own
Arguments are a mystery that you fail to solve
You're a nice guy but,
Trouble is the mirror image of swagger
You struggle from shattered glass syndrome
You're a nice guy but,
A tale I’ve heard too many times
The understatement of phrases often overstated

how would we remember? I know we have been there
elegance is probably overstated, I see it as a place of service
angels will be singing songs we love the best when we arrive
visualize colors we cannot see on earth, new magical colors
every soul we have ever met will be there to greet or remind us
now is the time to make amends and peace before we get there

Premium Member Lost Glasses

Losing them wasn't in the plan
Or even contemplated.
So myopic my eyes since childhood
Their loss can't be overstated.

Glasses on the bedside table,
Last to take off, first to put on.
As my fingers fumble for them,
Sadly, I must admit they're gone.
Squinting, I try to see the clock.
Everything blurs. Is it time for lunch?
Standing, I hear a definite crunch.

Running With Scissors

The dangers of health and safety
Cannot possibly be overstated
Because yesterday I tripped over
A pile of paper H&S related

It's a minefield of regulation
I've bought a tsunami plan
And six fire extinguishers
For a one-man-business band

The ludicrous requirements
Are completely over the top...
Soon I'll have to wear safety goggles
When I vac the floor and mop

The Investigation

The search for truth is what you’ll see
To piece the facts together so easily
What they perceive will be individual
And what they’ll remember will be residual

Put it all together and some will be corroborated
Even though it might be overstated
So test their story front and back
Make sure it stands up in examination for fact
For in the end the suspect should be convicted
And the court will have your evidence accepted.
