Mat

There was once a man named Mat.
He had no backbone to react.
People just walked all over him.
Mat was lookin' pretty grim..
Mat was just "flat out of luck..."
Someone just walked on him with guck!

Fall From Grace

In a field of bloody flowers,
Stood a lonely boy.
Over him a flower towers;
Eyes him like a toy.

He tries to cry,
To run and shout,
But the red sky,
Has no way out.

He cries;
He calls;
He dies;
He falls.

The Satirical Watch Maker

Here lies a watchmaker
He’s met an untimely end.
The hands of time took their toll,
Though his achievements were quite minute,
He was first to spring at any challenge,
and in his final hour; he prayed for god to watch over him.

Premium Member Hide and Seek Squirrel

hide and seek squirrel is a pleasure to watch if you must know
oak trees fight over him, he is clever, and has humor that glows
it’s my turn they holler to him as he begins his game play.
Shh! He shushes them. You will give my hiding place away!

Premium Member Last Tear

I saw him today, the man who tore out my heart 18 years ago. I felt--almost nothing, no desire to cry. I smiled, realizing my last tear over him was shed years ago.

A Riddle

I watch over him
      In the midnight hour
        Creating the shadows
      In which he lurks
         He follows my guiding light
      He is the Beast
         Look up and know
      I am his beauty
         Out of reach
       Yet I belong to him

          Who am I?

Premium Member 2 Lights

unsure of where to lay her anxiety
to cast it to the night air
or to let it hover over him
a fluorescent blue
the depth of a river
her river of tears
glowing lights
you've had me
lights
reflections
mirrors
..all misty in the river,
hidden by the night fog..

Sea and Beach

He recalls a towel on a beach – he under the dark of her. Sunlight dips in and out of half-open eyes. She moves her hips over him, another wave of her hits him deep. --- Here comes the spray and salt again, more memory to save from an ebbing shore and store.

Premium Member He is Risen

He is risen,
He is lifted,
He is seated now on high,
And the glory round His head
Is there to stay.

He can never be defeated,
He can no more come to die,
He is risen,
Ever-living up on high!

Him

his love
is sweter than honey
nothing else matters
he's my one
and only
every word whispered
sofly in my ear
he makes my heart beat....
triple time
soft candy kisses
my mind goes crazy over him
sitting
waiting
thinking....
of him
wondering when he'll come around
hold me in his arms tightly
he loves me
he really loves me

Premium Member Why Do They Like Uncle Jim

His tuxedo suit was extraordinarily fine
A tom by nature, he could not stay in line
Female pussies went wild over him
Which amused us cousins, for he was our uncle Jim

Why do they like you as much as nip?
He laughed and said maybe it is because I flip?
So saying he gave a couple of jumps on the trampoline
Landing with the best execution we had ever seen.

Premium Member Most Perfect Merman In China Sea

merman had no chance to swim away
a bunch of sirens serenaded him that day
they fought over him and the little sister won
she was a dazzling mermaid who knew how to have fun

merman never tried to get away again
he held her yarn, as she crocheted with a grin
cleaned house, washed dishes, vacuumed and made her tea
he was the most perfect merman in the China Sea

Premium Member The Lemon Hit My Nose At Full Force

The lemon hit my nose at full force,
the second the lid was off.
I ran into the kitchen, disbelieving
For I had already devoured two this month,
and my husband was not speaking to me
due to my nasty disposition.
I fell into his arms,
leaning over him
with a butter knife,
slicing a tiny piece
of lemon pound cake,
gloating that he thought it was
all about him

Hiding In Her Darkest Alley

Her broken rules
Couldn't feel the same
Tastes of choices
I gave no way
Broke back when it ended
She learned over him
I defended
Another's warm weather
Her level, hurt
Nothing to train it
A societies blemish
Miss prepared
No loves an affair
Gradually
Losing
Being worthed
Inventions
Untapped muscles
Repressed records
One day
Forgotten
Another's stain
Unbothered

Premium Member It Was a Good Morning Until

It was a good morning until
My hands and feet grew cold and still
I saw the spider on the wall
Crawling towards me in the hall

My goodness they make me sick
Oh boy do they move quick
Fear now bound me to my chair
Spider crawling without a care

My eyes rolled over him
My chances now pretty slim
Covering my visage just in case
He spun his web over my face.

Waiting

They met so long ago
Different types of people
They quickly fell in love
Marriage came within weeks
Sadly, their family never came
She died one night in her love’s arms
Their love was too strong
Neither death nor Heaven could hold her
She stays with her first love
Watching over him and keeping him safe
Waiting for him to join her
So, they can be happy once again

K-drama over him

On lazy days and boring nights
Kdrama shows I lay my sight
Every second spent feels so right
Than talking to someone not worth my fight

Shows maybe are just shows
Yes it won't care for me 'til my white hair grows
Some scenes maybe heart-breaking

Romantic comedies excite me through
Full attention each episode draws
Unlike a man who's giving me crumbs
Over time my heart goes numb.

Cold Blooded Murder Part 1

Here's a story that I must tell.
He screamed and she yelled.
She went into a rage and he fell.
Cutting of the flesh and a pool of blood.
He stared up at her with cold, dead eyes.
She stood over him with a smile on her cold face.

The police came and got her and sent her away,
away to the luney bin.
The churches hoped and prayed for her to be saved.
The put her to death the very next day.

From Me To Me

Hello, is all I can think to say
I have so much to tell you
To tell me
3 years doesn’t seem very long
But 3 years ago things were so different
Not me, really, but life
We grew up and learned
We cried and laughed
We stayed because we don’t know what else to do
We made mistake that we can’t take back
I want you to not lose your self over him
I want you to put your self-first because we have to and where going to…
