Premium Member Thought of the day
A tree outlives the leaves that adorn it
Adapting thus to change without complaint
It thrives without any fear or desire
Stoic, standing erect, resembling a saint...

The Resonance
In blue,
starry night.
Who was ephemeral ?
The shifting sand ?

*

The evil,
in turbulent waters,
outlives-
the flames.

*

Charred,
earthscape.
It was becoming an art.
You have countless abstracts.

Start with love deep that grounds you each day
Thrill dreamy sleep with myriad stay
Dare to weep in dying play
Surge of joy outlives gall
Etch dull ploy that calls
Live pain and all
Sense beauty
Set free
Be

Echo
Echo is a horse on gravel
muted and resounding
like God stepped sostenuto
e una corda

Hooves bouncing off and on
like a baby in
    the crib
       that outlives him

rattle. Break.

Slowly rock your empty belly
asleep. A percussive mantra rings
        echo. echo. hollow...

A Time For Dancing
The dance goes on; and every generation
Imposes measured steps and calls fast time.
I would sit this one out, but for the few
Opportunities for joining hands.

My awkward feet remember dated songs
And struggle with the strains of obsolescence.
The dance goes on and is oblivious
To slower time when need outlives a style....

Misty clouded heart
Misty clouds fill my eyes,
After you stabbed my heart,
With a blade forged in hate.
Pain oozes out like blood,
But neither red nor caked –
Yet it outlives all thought.

Feel thus the strange feelings
That impinge upon slippery slides
On slopes of sensorial rush
Moving here and there
But unknown in the flux and reflux
Of uncertain certainty
As even mere paradox outlives
Fragile mortality in-transit
As mortal death embraces dying

The Roots of Time
Stone cracks itself when the immovable is broken by pain. Stone trees grow in stone locked caves. All that is not stone wanders rootless, yet they abide in that same furnace of time that has long shaped the stones. Stone outlives, unlike we who walk upon it. On that last day stone will have outpaced the bones of the fastest horse.

Words cannot go where joy finds space,
Feel knows a glow in simple grace.

Words try yet fail to tell of smiles,
Feel you avail in poise that styles.

Words speak of thought yet fail to bridge,
Feel outlives plot to breeze the ridge.

Words cannot stay where impulse flings,
Feel outgrows say to live fond spring.

Garnet Star
O! Garnet star, what hydra-like,
	Immortality
How humanity doth envy,
	Thou vitality

What sayest thou of Man?
	(Surely he would say)
O - but lowly Mayfly,
	That flutter for a day

What thinkest thou of Time?
	(Surely he would think)
A torrent inexhaustible,
	I forever drink

Lo, but I know a thing,
	Surpassing thou by far:
Eternal life in Christ,
	Outlives thou, garnet star!...

Sole idle suffuses our organic
Implicit say overcomes suggestion
Ideal sanctity outlives semantics

Isolated in single origin
Slaughters overt outside influences

It's retro! It's vintage! It's modern, its sleek! It's trendy! It's stylish! It's posh and its chic! It evolves, it survives, it outlives and excels, It dictates, it promotes, it invents and propels. It climbs up, it rolls back, spins fast then slows down It changes, rotates but never leaves town. It turns heads, it drops jaws in its mighty old fashion! It's designed to a tee to ignite our passion!

Word art can craft
A telling draft

Let wordplay fling
Such lovely things

See that you see
What joy may be

Be one in-sync
As feel oomphs think

Verse set in rhyme
Can anchor chimes

Forge each feel well
In touching tell

Words can say more
In sublime shores

The match you catch
Outlives mere stretch

In feisty draft
Sense sacred craft

To Death
To Death… A toast in tainted wine
Let glasses ring its somber chime
As shadows cast its name in black
To Death we walk… with no path back

To Death… whose fame has spanned the ages
Only love has penned more pages
Only time outlives its quill
To Death … To Death ‘till all is still

To Death… and to its secret kept
While all that live have stood and wept
To Death… and to its final kiss
I give a life… that I shall miss...

Watch how joy comes
As bliss now sums

Look to the way
Peace funds this day

Let happy touch
Bring ever much

Seize the clear gist
Beyond mere list

Fear strangles calm
As vile thoughts balm

Heed the odd feel
As pain moves will

Cast thus the choice
That flavours poise

Love outlives charm
In loving arms

Prize your fond play
That streams each day

A Love Hung Quiet
The hill was bare, the sky undone,
The veil was torn without a sound.
Red streaked the wood, the earth stood still,
And love hung quiet, pierced and crowned.
But dawn returned in linen white,
A folded cloth, an open stone.
No trumpet called, just wind and light,
And grace that walked the garden home.
Now light outlives the longest night,
And hope is etched in every sky.
The hands once bound now hold the stars
And mercy reigns, and cannot die.

On the Edge of Forever
The shores of time
are at our feet
The sea of eternity
we've come to meet
What we'll find
Is beyond our grasp,
If only to have
A lover's hand to clasp

To wade together
Under the moon's sweet light
To have one to say "Good Night"
Where a mere touch outlives
wild ecstacy
Where in the world,
There is but you and me
To walk these shores
Till time grows slow
Always aware that you know
We are as one,
Always will be,
Past the drying of this ancient sea....

Psshhh
Her maybeline tears saltier than the oceans...peaked in glamour waves and emotions ...
I have never seen the heart of love until i gazed into her eyes
Feverishly connected but hidden in a maze of disguise
I call her name but in return only silence caught the waves
The energy of love immortal inexplicably outlives the grave
Eyes as blue as the waters of patagonia and golden locs like sunshine rays
Mesmerizing beauty i'd pay the reaper his due cost to be With her just one more day...
