Holidays Alone
Happy scents of gingerbread drift
Out from windows covered in snow.
Lights flicker and twinkle

Making every effort not single lune

Water to a barren waterless world
Like a tune of the odourless curled

O trees open up give green and shade light
Make the world again everywhere delight...

a blind spot so inviting this pretence.

Pale would be to whom the monochrome,
has suffered once as if we'd died before
to colour landscapes hopefully to roam
those beautiful scenarios of home....
