Nomad

They say, home is where the heart is.
But, what of those who carry their heart,
Never to leave it behind?
Nomads forever are they.

Nomad

How can you live a vagrant life,
Sleeping anywhere you lay your head?
Has anyone never said building appreciation,
Starts by owning your own bed.

No place to call a home,
never putting down roots.
Navigating the world,
not knowing where or when.
Novel way to live life,
namely gypsy life-style.
Not the life I would choose.

Now be at peace:
Opt fond surprise,
Make play meet ease;
Ask for joy wise,
Dance with fun please!

Nomad

My soul longs for a place I can't remember. I never feel like I'm home. One life to the next, wandering aimlessly...searching. Wanting to go home. Hoping it will be soon. Waiting for the events that mark the day to transpire.

Nomad

A wanderer travelling in the abyss
Saffron blinding the mist

Blue covering the mighty
A tender wave decluttering the mosaic of rainbow

A deep dive into the green
Pondring into the white

Before black took over the spotlight
Where the wings flapped before goodbye

Nomad fought for a fabled gap in the skies, adrift. Seeking solace in the unknown, a soul to uplift The sun casts an even brighter sphere in the air. Guiding the wanderer with a gentle flare. Ravens fly into the void, tearing sadness apart. Their wings, a symbol of hope, ignited the heart.

Nomad

It's heartbreaking,
watching the clouds part.
The city is burnt down,
there is nothing left to go back to.
The warrior must move on.
For she is a nomad.
...destined to be alone forever.
Only her pen will feel her pain,
and her paper will hear her confessions,
...she likes it that way,
and that is the way it'll stay.

Nomad Child

Wandering barefoot through the world Nomad Child leaves the horror far behind In a shattered village where no birds sing Only dimly remembering his mother’s face And his father’s smile Nomad Child, the wind whispers in your ear Soft sounds to soothe away your fears And turn your nightmares into dreams Sleep soundly, Nomad Child

The Nomad

“The Nomad”

The nomad in wants to go get up and
Get right and go make some money around
A beach. The breach breathes the salty air. Cant you taste it in there?

Not if she has a fever of 105 degrees again and we have to come back.

The nomad blends in well almost like he loses himself when in others
Im just so sure being the shadow man to save ones that are in side

nonplussed nomads nestling near
nascent neon nooks

Just a stranger in a strange land

A thousand miles of desert sand

With only the stars to guide me

And a thirst for life inside me

The moon eclipsed the desert air

Then from my lips a silent prayer

Enlightenment I do beseech

The precipice that I might reach

No boundaries that I can see

This desert wind has set me free

A wanderer without a home

A thousand miles for me to roam

Nomad

I could drive until the sun went down.
I could run until the the moon disappeared underneath the ground.
I'd still be in the exact same place.

I could crawl over mountain tops.
I could walk through farming crops.
But getting anywhere, wouldn't leave one trace.

I guess I'll always be here.
I'll always come back.
Because, there's always something new to fear.
And the phobia is better if I just keep on track.

Nomad No More

To the North, To the South
To the Left, To the Right
Only God Exists

His breath enters every portal
of being
I close my eyes in dark, starless realms
He glides within
Endless Sun of dreams
illumine the path, veins, arteries
radiating from my heart

Connect us to a higher Highway
above the fruited plain
swirling red dust of our
bones, teeth, marrow
barren desert mirages

God, Beloved Self
the wandering is over
take us home forever

Nomad

Nomad

It’s Old news to girlfriends
And former wives
I’ve been flying solo
All of my life

It wasn’t just them
I hadn’t stayed with
There were many a friend
And old acquaintance

Didn’t realize then
As I do today
I’m a nomad at heart
Who’ll stray over stay

I also know now
It’s freedom I need
Free to move on
Free to be free

I’m happy this way
It’s simple
You see
I’m happy alone
And happy with me

Nomad

im a nomad in this land of the devils dust
im a nomad not a soul no not one i can trust

im a rogue on a road i lost all my perspective
and reality is nothing more than tangled objectives

im a nomad bleeding in this land of lust
inhaling the toxins from the devils dust

my tears are like boulders
burdens heavy on my shoulders

and pain is unbearable
equally un-shareable

oh take me oh take me i can not endure
how can living like this feel so insecure
