Nighttide Seductions

Waking up wet her loveliness lingering...
In pools of perfume gathering as, trickling
Her tongue tasting; thick, deep inside my lips.

On the Horizon

Sunset painting velvety sky at nighttide
tones of red clouds shimmering above mountains
trace the downward spiral of wafting sunset
replaced with darkness

The Dance

as nighttide settles
like calm seas
her backdrop
becomes your stage

old thoughts
sneak
like shadows
against mind's walls

i spin beneath
demonic haunts
as your words
fall
rage-red
winded fury
on burial grounds
already full
of little deaths

i gasp
through short breaths
and utter your name
as etched
on each stone

soaked
with morning
i rise
and remember
this dance

Monotone Skies

this monotone sky
is less full than i
this moonless night

lonesome is the star
that flickers
in the weave of clouds
obscured of darkness

i stand shapeless
in the absence of light
where shadows recede
hidden like thoughts
forbidden

i search
through the fog
of clouded mind
trying to find
the lucent glow
of your soul
to usher me
through this obscurity
of nighttide

In the Fades of Night

in the fades of crimson
ivory shadows dance
upon the hills
in windswept motions
beneath the haloed moon

my thoughts aglow
in the allure
that nighttide
often brings

a song
on the strings
of hearts
drifts aimlessly
in echoes
through the folds
of darkness
towards dreams
as eyes close
to gain sight

in the distance
i see you
standing
alone
hands out
reaching
but never
touching
before
eyes open
and you fade
with night
in the breaks
of day
