Very beautiful writing. I'm somewhat familiar with Sappho. I enjoyed the fragmented yet related nature of the writing. You've captured the essence of her poetry... Jack

I forgot how the last line should be done. But it looks like you got the first ones metered correctly. I found this type of stanza very challenging! Yours is beautiful.

Thanks Andrea...i thought it to be a real challenge too and had several different definitions of the form as well as several sample poems open as i wrote it and it still took me weeks to finish it..
