All You Newbies
All you newbies, a warm welcome to the group
Sure hope you enjoy your stay on The Soup
There's a couple of weird dudes
On the whole, we're all prudes
Though sometimes we say words like pee and poop!...

My Favored Season
My Favored Season…
Exploding fragrant blossoms invite…
flying newbies to share space
squatters to temporary home
buzzing news for the times.

The Last Post
Highlanders last post
For a little while at least
Thank you for sharing
All your writing feasts
Commenting will continue
When time does allow
Oldies and newbies
Will all continue to wow
Bye everybody
My pens laid to rest
Pastures new I now journey
To persue a new zest...

Unlucky Instigator of the Pandemic
fuchsia rose was captured in the early sixteenth century
her legend was passed through many dynasties,
then storytellers got bored with her, and forgot her story
she waited for her chance; twinkling and dazzling newbies
enticing one to release her from her Pandora prison
the unlucky instigator of the pandemic...

A Man
man’s Achilles’ heel
is not shown when he is mad
it’s when he’s in love
;)

Note: This is Man's Nature this time not nature of nature.
I suppose to say, madly in love, lol.

Puppets
Held on to the fine strings
Was the framework of a puppet
As the colourful fabric clings,
To its body depicting snippets
Of the rich culture passed on,
From generations ago
And then it dawn upon
The newbies for it to grow.
Acts of the finest quality
Are enacted in those shows
Rewarded by the loyalty
Of the audience who chose
To enjoy the performance
Of the puppets or say the actors
While in reality was the brilliance
Of the puppet public's dictators....

Another Lovely Day
The fabric of time, bends to our will.
The portents of love, we will fulfill.
People always find, reasons to live.
When someone appears, with hope to give.
The music today, looking for soul.
when it has no heart, it takes a toll.
The thinkers- know-how, will rue the day.
Becoming a force, that comes to play.
Green newbies appear, and not to lose.
They all seem to have, their blue suade shoes.
Another lovely day, full of strife.
A lonely android, longing for life!

What Is the Music She Plays
What is that music she plays? Many wondered aloud.
We did not name it, but it was truly new for the in-crowd.
It is Chopin, someone said, which told the newbies nothing at all.
They never heard it again until they found a great concert hall.
It’s the way of the masters, classical, gorgeously done said one.
Soothing soul music, that shines as bright as any old sun.
We love this melody and want it to do even more for us they said.
Proof that their blown-out-ears were not completely dead....
