Waters rolling incessantly 
through mountainsides 
like morning dew,
Storm winds taking over
life's days;
non realizing moments
of dread 
as night-fall  crept
upon the horizon.

One day at a time
life continued it's course
sunrise, once again 
came about;
Yet, waters still rolled
through the mountainsides....

The Baker’s glazed the brush today
the vine, the grass, the trees
He’s covered every conifer with
protection from the breeze

The Baker’s glaze like clear egg white
drips sugar upon every twig
His frosting covers the mountainsides
no boulder is to big.

He top-dressed all the architecture;
He’s polished the asphalt.
The Baker’s glazed the world today
He’s given it much thought....

The hoary frost of old age
Lays upon my head like a
Quiet Stone

Its heaviness crumbles
While I sleep
Little pieces of my
Life, drifting away into waves of
Salty Dreams

The Air I breathe
Lifts the skies from the Horizons
Holds them Still
The puddles undulating down the
Mountainsides

My arms wrapped
Around the Sun
Eclipsed Moon at
Midnight

Staring deeply into a
Black Universe
that ends along
the Silver Edges of an
Eternal Night...

Baby blue skies extending forever
through verdant valleys 
and hugging mountainsides 

Eagles glide gracefully
on a butterscotch breeze
captivating lost feelings in me

Oh to soar   so solitarily
away from pain strapping me
in to a dreamless scene
where windows are tinted and freedom's only hinted

A glazed gaze away from the day
into a peaceful sun
the futures begun

On top the evergreen it twirls
swaying in the silence 
one drop at a time...
