Home Is Where My Heart Is

~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Our houses may be far apart,

But, our love will never be.

We are always close in heart,

My home ~ my mother and me.

I Love You Mommy

I LOVE YOU MOMMY
written by my daughter
2002 8yrs old

I love you mommy,
I love you mommy,
mommy what should we do?

Should we go to the park,
shall we stay at home..
what shall we do.

Does it matter what we do,
can I just spend some
time with you

My Best Friend

Mother my best friend.
One on whom I can depend.
Faithful to the end.

All problems amend.
With me all her time will spend.
Love she won't suspend.

Even worldly trend,
won't make mothers love abend.
All our love will blend.

Mother

The loving hug from a mother
They say will wash the tears away
A love so pure and true
Will surely hold through
No one can love you
Like your mother loves you

From the time you were born
She’s been there
A connection no one can tear
Heartfelt talks
Walks in the park
A love no one can break

But Ma,

You can withstand the
Sea in a shell
You can be hoaxed by
The moon hearing bells
You think a ball
Can see it All

But Ma,
I sure do love you

You call me small
When I grew an inch!
If you dreamt the night
You bear your pinch
Ouch, does it pain
To see you flinch

But Ma,
I sure do love you

My Mother

O Mother! My mother
Thy love has made me strong
Each passing day, my humble pearl
Think I of thee, O fairest friend
For in those days when I wanted help,
Thou came by
It was all I needed;
Someone to share those forbidden days,
And in whose eye was a reason to live.

Mother! Mother!
Thy love has made me strong

Mothers Day

Today is a special day
For mothers everywhere
So why not give them lots of love
And show them that you care.

Shower them with flowers
And with chocolates too
For mothers everywhere today
really do love you.

They are there when you need them
They are never far away
So go and show your love to them
On this Mothers Day.

Mother

Even though we have not always gotten along
I want you to know i love you.
And no matter what i appreciate
all that you say and do.

When times are difficult
who is always at my side?
Whether it's important
or whether i need a ride.

So for all the times that
it escaped me not to say:
I love you with all my heart
and i think of you every day.

Worlds Best Mommy:

Thank you for always being there,
every step of the way;
Loving caring and sharing,
each and everyday.

Thank you for loving me
with a love thats true.
Thanks for brightening up my day,
when I was sad or blue.

I thank you oh so very much,
for the love you gave to me,
There is no doubt that in my life,
you are the worlds best MOMMY!

My Mommy

My mommy has elmos laugh.
She is a part of the riverside staff.

My mother is really short.
Baketball is her favorite sport.

Peanut is my mothers nickname.
In basketball she brought her a-game.

She loves me a whole bunch.
She always takes me out to lunch.

My love for her will never die.
This is truly NOT a lie.

This poem is finally over.
Now she knows i love her.

A Poem For Mothers

A POEM FOR MOTHERS

A mothers heart is always open up for love ,
No matter what you do they’ll forgive you for what you have done.
They have the best wishes and wonderful thought ,
If you do what they tell you to and don’t break their hearts.

No matterwhat they do or say they love us the best,
And nothing they hate to see like our souls go to rest.
Thye want to see us turn out good and not to become a mess,
They can only love us more but never less.

A Mothers Love

A MOTHERS LOVE IS EVERLASTING,
SO STROUNG AND SO DEVINE,
A TRUER LOVE THERE NEVER WAS,
AS THAT; THAT COMES FROM MINE.

THIS LOVE CAN CURE A HEARTBREAK,
AND ALSO BRING A SMILE,
WILL HELP A CHILD IN TIMES OF WOE,
PLUS GO THAT EXTRA MILE.

IT HOLDS THIS WORLD TOGETHER,
A BOND THAT CAN'T BE BROKEN,
SHE DOSN'T ASK FOR ANY REWARD,
NONE; NOT ANY TOKEN.

SO WHEN I THINK OF MOTHER,
I THANK THE LORD ABOVE,
THAT YOU WILL BE THERE FOR ME,
TO GIVE A MOTHERS LOVE.

Dear Treasure

Dear loved one,
Will you remember me when I leave?
Will you remember my smile as I walk away?
Tonight, you are able to look at me
But, tomorrow I might not be here
I lived with you for many years now
Yet one day, I shall leave
Forget me not loved one
For I love you so
To an extent that
I can not bare your sad moods
Tonight, I ponder so intently
At what the future beholds
Tonight I ponder intently
At what shall happen when I leave
Dear loved one
I love you so

Child's Perception

Through their eyes

I can see smiles from others
I see colors on the TV
I see dogs at eye level
While they are licking me
Hahahaha (Laughter)

I see monsters in my closet
I see bats while in flight
I see shadows that are scary
When I go down for the night
Oooohhh (Fear)

I see a mommy or my daddy
I see the love that they share
I see that they do what’s right
Because for me, they do care
Aaahhhhh (sigh of happiness)

I love you too, mom and dad
And always will

A Mother's Love

Mum's love is brighter than the brightest star,
fuller than the local bar.
Longer than the world and back,
even bigger than a running track.
Much more faster than a big jet plane,
even clearer than the drops of rain.
Stronger than the strongest man,
wanted more than a summers tan.
Higher than the willow trees,
As helpful as your apartment keys.
More loving than a teddy bear,
Fresher than a juicy pear.
Deeper than the deep blue sea,
I know she'll love me for eternity.

Mother

You are old, to unfamiliar eyes
Your body weakened by the years.
Yet your love, strength and humour shone
As brightly as in my youth,
Always there to dry my tears.

Always there when I was young
Not always welcome, it's true
Picking me up, righting me.
You still picked me up when I fell
I still need you.

Yet I have learned so much.
Your love helped me take my next breath.
Motherlove is infinite
It did not die with your death.
You have made me mother
To my unborn son.

Mother

Love in its purest form
Pain in the deepest wounds
when your family goes
astray you are not well.
time will heal most wounds
except when left by your
child/grandchild that you
have nurtured and cuddled
since birth and loved with
the deepest love you know
how to bestow.
Pray, pray pray and
know it is not to your blame.
