Persons have personality; Personalism -

Revisiting hate, avarice ... Before going away...

THE DRUM MAJOR KING
THE DRUM MAJOR: MLK
Reaping his harvest,
Nourished spirits marching on–
King's voice echoing:-
With the Drum Major,
Up the mountaintop we go;
Our eyes on the prize:-
King lies within us,
Shepherding us on the way;
Mountaintop climbing:-
King’s nature blooming…
Guided spirits blossoming…
We...overcoming…

Mlk
Four walls and iron,
Bars can't stop my mind and thoughts;
Freedom and money
~~~Who took this picture??
How long did he stay?
Why was he arrested?
Thoughts to ponder.
For Abe Lopez's contest on a photo of MLK Jr. sitting in a Birmingham, Al. Jail like the
thinker, where he wrote several papers on various subjects....
I do not know?
I Saw the Psychedelic Lights
I Saw The Psychedelic Lights ??
It came through in music
As well as in song
C’mon People Now
Let’s all get along
Love, Peace and Happiness
Was what we did preach
It was our Trinity ??
Our core belief
There was Dylan, Baez
And MLK
Apostles of peace
With something to say
And...
All We Are Saying
Is Give Peace A Chance
Oh...
Let It Be
Our glorious chant
If Mlk
If MLK
Must have to admit
Write more poems want me to quit
So thought I should split.
With your endeavor
What I write never is clever
Read poems won't ever.
Timbers did shiver
When good poem did deliver
On vine won't wither.
Have great attitude
Readers don't become unglued
With my poems multitude.
So you soon shall see
If MLK had been me
At last will be free.
I do not know?
This Dream To You! Mlk Honored
I could have run and tried to hide.
When God said, "Go against the tide."
"Preach unity and never fight.
All races on earth have equal rights."
In peace and love " I Have A Dream."
No prejudice, or hatred, life serene!
I could have tried to run and hide.
But either way I would have died.
So I chose to carry on.
To show in peace we can be strong.
"I Have A Dream." It must come true.
And now God gives THIS DREAM TO YOU.
Epitaph
Mlk Day
On MLK Day, let’s reflect
On protests made in peace,
For choosing who we would elect
Should not require police.
Remember marching through the streets?
Our weapons were our chants.
We had no Facebook, had no tweets
And yet we took a stance.
When Martin Luther King was here,
We listened as a crowd
Within a civil atmosphere;
No violence allowed.
If King were somehow back today
To see what is at stake –
The future of the USA –
I think his heart would break....
