Ben Dover Pre-Dick-A-Mint

Penelope could touch her toes
And quickly would assume that pose
But everyone knows
It isn't her toes
That beckons to so many beaux!

Mint Green Trees

My nail polish matches turquoise streak on the menthol cigarette.
My mood matches the greenish mint blue color of my cuticles.
My day going by as long as nail polish had to dry.

Quatrain #836:
MINT

Make up your mind to live your best,
Indulge in kind deep lovely zest;
Note what you find as stillness mints,
Touch as you sign sheer ample fest.

MINT

Meet mellow mint where wonder wills,
Ink sparkling tint as flavours thrill;
Note deeper hint in sacred space,
Touch like soft lint can soothe fond feel.

MINT

Make what you will of love that funds,
Ink how joy fills the flight wit puns;
Note glimpse of hills where poise now shows,
Touch prompts deep feel of a home run.

Quatrain #777:
MINT

Mind mellows heart in the sure light,
Ink stains now start to cite fond sights;
Note thus verse art that string firm poise,
Touch can impart a profound flight.

Mint Duet

Tongues swathed in mint
  Trestlework of undulation
    Swoosh of utter breezes
      The cool tingling sensation

Test a Mint

i stood
in front of
the stairs

staring up
at the facade
i was actually

there though
thinking thoughts
i aughten have been

there even though
i was there so
i had to try

to find
the line
of reality

so i
pinched
myself and

found
i was at
the bottom

of the
stairs

Crisp cheeky charm
Apt answer arms

Meet mindful mint
Hurl happy hint

Dance dreary daze
Craft clever craze

Note naughty nice
Spread sunny spice

Matter meets mind
Fleeting fear finds

Hurry hope here
Spoil silly seer

Dig distant dance
Chase creamy chance

Wit knows a mint
As humour hints

Pun can be heard
In swing of words

Jest now conspires
With cool attire

Lean on a joke
As tickle pokes

Laugh loud and long
Just to be strong

Purge then sad pain
Live not in vain

Come to know truth
Where peace primes proof

Ice Cream

I scream

I dream

I love ice cream,

Brain freeze

This is agony,

Salted caramel

Or mint choc chip,

Strawberry sundae

Tastes good to me,

I have a confession

I love rum and raisin,

I scream

I dream

I love ice cream,

The taste and the texture

I think are heaven,

Out of ten

I score ice cream eleven.

I have Smelly Armpits and
Bursting to Go
but; I'm heading to the supermarket
the condiments aisle
I meet my neighbour
like conversing with a
pigeon
give me the full recipe
he says
he has arm wrestling
intelligence -
but how to get out of it
unsex me now
come, thick night
he talks about his hedges
I shoplift
the sugar puffs

Premium Member Word Mint

Lift up your heart
As love now starts

Give all you can
To understand

Live your best now
As truth endows

Act with clear will
To feel fine fill

The way is hard
For a true bard

Word mint fits pain
Now once again

Dare to be good
In any mood

The middle way
Fits night and day

Come away now
For why knows how

                                                   Tea Time

Lilting songs tuned up at tea time,
Mint scent pervades the nearby air,
No time better than at morn
On to start the day with soft taste,
Pursue the journey with a bang.

We Are Chopped Mint

We are hanging hams, are we
in cellars off the coastal sea
licked by Mediterranean breeze

or foot-smashed grapes in Tuscany
afloat in oaken barrels, we
as flavors gain complexity.

Everyone is clever, everyone is bright
We are salt and we are light

We're the craft of chocolatiers
(from Switzerland with warm
hands on cold mountaintops.)

We are slowly sipped espresso. We are chopped mint.

We indeed are crème brûlée
formed by hand like potter's clay.

Premium Member A Question For the Us Mint

A little question for the U.S. Mint, how do you decide which President to print?
Which Presidential portrait fits best on the money?
Why did you put President Jackson's face on the $20?
If Abraham Lincoln was our best President, why is
he only on the $5's that we've spent?
It's well known that George Washington slept everywhere,
so perhaps a lower denomination was morally fair.
A chance for a little historical reflection, please explain
this currency connection?
