I watched Mike Tyson fight
At 58 was no delight sight
But respect to him
For going to the gym
I guess the money was right

Do Not Fall Down

Falling down, simply terrific
for the young!
For the elderly, no, as our springs have
indeed, been totally, sprung.

I took a big spill on Halloween,
And now I am known as the Poetess
ala Wheelchair Queen?

Feel like I finished a boxing round with
Mike Tyson.
Me, a pummeled, poetic. baby byson!

Controversial boxing legend with a distinctive lisp, "Iron Mike" Tyson.
The sheer impact of his punch? Probably like being rammed by a Bison.

Ex-convict/former bad boy; paid his debt to society without exemption.
Came out of prison, got boxing license back, took road to redemption.

Rocky Vii

(This is a fictional poem)

Stallone is making another Rocky movie and it's coming out next year.
In it he fights Mike Tyson and Mike Tyson bites off his ear.
Rocky will be in a lot of pain and you'll hear him groan.
One punch from Tyson is all it will take to break Rocky's brittle bones.
This is a movie that many people will probably hate.
I'm begging Stallone not to make a Rocky VIII.

Test of Faith

Would you turn the other chick if you were hit by Mike Tyson?
Would you let your would be killer smile at you and kiss you on your chick?
With the ability to turn water into wine, would you refuse to own a brewery?
Would you give up a throne a minute after being crowned, to follow a carpenter’s son?
Would you temporarily entomb your current life for a promise of a new one after three days?
