Pretending So Am Spending
Pretending So Am Spending

Trump has been person who is pretending;
Another ignorant memo he started sending;
Outrageous;
Contagious;
What he prefers must be lying and spending.

Not Quite Lost
Another book misplaced,
another search through piles
of bills. My car keys dis-
and reappeared. Was it
the cat who hid my glasses?
Why, here’s that memo
I’ve been missing!
How things get shifty
with the years....

Phony Bunch of Bologna

Trump is sure to win another Tony,
For all of his big bunch of Bologna;
Up to his ears,
Drawing tears;
Proves that he is putrid and phony,
And squishy as some salty abalone.

In a warm morning in Colombo
There is a package in a bow
And a letter say, "Love, I'll be home tomorrow"
A gift and love memo, what a perfect combo

Power of a mom
Keeps everything calm
Busy as can be
With no fee
Holding a hand
Being a fan
Having answers when in a jam
While frying dinner in a pan
There is so much caring
Mom trusting and sharing
As a driving force
Mom is the number one source...

My, Thee, Memo
It has reach its destination
When a plan you thought would work, does not
And a plan you thought would not work, does
It makes you think, does is it
Definitely

It has reach its climax
When the puzzle keeps unfolding
And the pieces follow the sequence
It leaves the mind at ease
Proudly so...

choice of the day
was
clear
when your voice
ran against my ear

soothe any aching
tension that comes from
the air

removes any vision
that don't need to
be here. right
where you are
 i need to be there
no note
no letter
no memo
but whats in my
heart that set fourth
my love unconditional....

How To Eat the Sun
Memo to self: eat the sun
Money don't run down ski slopes
Human breathe might be cosmic
There's no telling what we'll do

Telegram to flag:
Patriotism is native like tobacco leaves
Stars will always shine
Streaming through marching ballads

Dreaming time to waking eyes:
The sound is not the form
It's just pleasure on the tongue
Make your kitchen a devil palace...

We Could Not Hear
Beasts, foul and great famine
It happened just as we had feared
There was no noise
There was no sound
We could not hear..
The Word had promised angel voices
Rejoicing fervently and true
For the ones who missed the memo
Their senses mute..
We'll make it back everyone said
We'll join God's army, re-enlist
But God's great army and His chosen
Walked away into the mist...

I said, “No.” and I meant it.
There was a memo. You know I sent it.
No...it's not something you can deny
And I have no interest in hearing why.
Your read receipt’s right here.
And the memo’s meaning was quite clear.
Despite that memo, you failed to comply.
So, for you, I’ll further clarify.
I have faith that you will surely understand,
When I put this ‘pink slip’ in your hand....

Kissed the Rain
I cherish every raindrops which dance upon my face
Occasional piano accompaniment drift along my pace
On the trails which tickles my fifth sense of taste
Millions molecular beam saved every curt memo as a lace
Which knitted through every single wink of my grace
Again, I cherish every raindrops which dance upon my face

Love the moment, love the drizzle
Love the ambiance which showered in a dazzle...

Words unsaid
Loss is laid

Gone too soon
Ere next noon

Dead on time
A lost chime

In life brief
Echoes grief

State too late
Empty plate

Loss feels deep
Final sleep

Sad looks bleak
Knees feel weak

Eyes droop low
Last light glows

Farewell then
Loss knows when

End game woes
Time to go

Pay cheque paid
Jobs waylaid

Stars Precious Moment In Time
Memo times
My Momma always told me
when a Star falls from the sky
tis means a believer past away
Gone to be by our Lord's Side

But when a New Star apears
in the atmosphere
New babe in Christ
someone recieved Eternal Life-

But when you see
Shooting Star across the sky
tis God's Angel Flying by.. using God Speed
to help whomsoever in Need

Oh.. how I miss her
loving heart.. ways
God Bless her Soul...

Premium Member Blanket of White
Nature didn't get the memo.
The weatherman said sunny and bright.
According to what I see now,
I suppose he got it half right.

The sun is no where in evidence,
conspicuous by it's absence, at best.
It's bright all right, that's for sure.
With a layer of white we've been blessed.

I really don't like the winter.
Cold weather just isn't for me.
But even I can admit it's pretty,
this blanket of white that I see....

Charity
Calendars and note cards,
Labels by the score,
Memo pads and bookmarks,
Wrapping paper, sometimes more.

Every single charity
Reaches out to see
If any of their offers
Unlocks generosity.

For some I get the checkbook
(Yes, old-fashioned, but it works)
And send in a donation
To offset those little perks.

But after I am dead and gone,
My family, bereft,
Will be shocked at just how many
Address labels I have left.

Firefly
I see the small flashes of the last remaining fireflies in the dark September sky. A couple of stragglers, unaware that even in the warm night, that summer is drawing to an end. Apparently they had not received the memo the rest of their brothers had. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one aimlessly flying around, clueless to the enviable change. Goodnight lost little fireflies. Goodnight kindred spirits of the warm September night......
