Ode To Malachite

malachite gentles my willing heart
helps me breathe in natural greens
with her twirling beauty, she enlightens me
a gorgeous gift from our mother earth

Should Malachite Bemoan

Should malachite bemoan
The diamond's luster
When the diamond could
Envy malachite's color?
Does the pearl cite
A greater metamorphosis
Than that of hematite
Though both be lustrous?

Molecular Dreaming

I passed through the azurite; a soul on its molecular tour. I swam lapis lakes and trekked the malachite mountains alone. Energized by the pyrite sun’s rays, I was renewed.

Mood Music

Color me azurite; Malachite isles upon Lapis blue seas. I sail the waves, moved by Gaia’s tranquil, reverberating song. On the horizon, dolphin arcs play; brother sun laughs.

Malachite

Malachite can light your life; its glowing threads, they will delight. This gem of green, loves to be seen; it lends a certain zest; with precious gold, I am told, it truly shines its best.

Celtic Daydream

There was an old man who marched in Dublin,
danced to malachite past, wore shammocks lean.
            Guinness stout in clinking glass
he drank whole night en masse.
Through the day he dreamed Celtic dreams umpteen.

verdent gemstones

Malachite is the loveliest color
As is emerald, May’s birthstone
Chrysoprase makes my heart feel happy
There are so many verdant gems
They all reflect money, revitalization and new beginnings
When people wear them, I feel the vibrations in the room rise

Angelic Love

The seeds of love I sow in my malachite meadow
Enthralled, they sprout with the emerald shine bright
Design the cradle of saplings for the rose buds to glow
Nascent sunburst sky paints my dulcet dawn of delight
Transfixes the dew diadem on jade grass in pearly show
Shaping my dreams where as an angel I see you alight

Azurite

Azurite, its colors bold; the image of Gaia’ from space. With malachite and lapis both; a stone of such good taste. The golden, pyrite veins; flow across its radiant breath. Azurite tells stories old, of Mother Earth, with zest. Malachite lands, lapis oceans surround; such deep blue, rolling seas. Azurite has no motion; it’s a portrait of Earth, you see.

Color Me Azurite

In a world with billions, Of colors bright and bold; Color me azurite; Malachite and lapis Veined with golden pyrite; Yes I am azurite. I’m baked in the ground Until I am found; And I’m chipped away From my mother’s womb; Cut and set in gold. Now color me Expensive please; These days I am So very rare. Over-mined, Earth’s robbed blind; So unfair. Still a Beauty; I.

Spring Green

Petrichor perfumes the air,
storm violence unleashed;
the force of raindrops on the ground,
the heat of lightning in the street
cleanse earth’s stagnant atmosphere
and primal fragrance is released.
The greens of spring are radiant,
polished malachite and peridot;
each tree dons a gemstone crown,
a reigning verdant king or queen,
country and urban potentates,
with flower followers at their feet.

Skipping a Stone

I skip one stone across the pond,
an oblate onyx dotting i's
in footles of a vagabond
who tiptoes after tiger eyes.

Perhaps the ripples left behind
are teary runes of gray moonstone
by starry sapphires once declined
for poesies of chalcedone.

In unison do pines recite
around the swaying cellophane
with spruce in verses malachite
on tawny-needled counterpane.

Soon aloe waters recompose
an epilogue of silent prose.
