Jean-Luc Picard cant replace James T. Kirk

with his Earl Grey tea and sinister smirk,

he lacks Jim's youthful physique,

that made women's knees go weak,

and acts more like a Shakespearean jerk.

Heatwave
Summer sun burning skin,
Ice cream cones are meltin’ in goo,
Weathermen have no clue,
Sunscreen dries while we stew on sand
No chilling breeze at hand,
Slowly roasting, suntanned we lie,
Baring all neath the sky,
Moaning temps are too high again,
How we need cooling rain,
To relieve the summer’s pain of heat,
Too hot, too hot we bleat
The sand is burning feet, oh dear,
Global warming I fear
When summer sun is here, such sin!

My Longing --- Song That Luc Bat Sonnet
It's over one year you left from our happy nest, didn't chase to know how I'm to face the world, my disgrace never thought. With ego you fought each time didn't care anytime, how much you hurt my faith with such words, how did it touch my longing. Instead of walking away, could you not find way to keep vows intact; made me weep thinking which acts sweep adoring. Quiet sobs are you hearing, how can you be uncaring?

The Batkovan Brief - Thanking Lady Luc....

If I were to say I’ve never loved
then I’ve never lived.
And if I were to say I’ve lived,
then I’ve lived a lie.
To have loved would have been to have known you.
Because, first there was you, and then there was ‘love’.
And now that I know you ...
I now know love - and know that I can love.
Now that I have seen you, touched you, breathed you,
I know I shall love you …and know that I live.

Robert A (April 2016)...
