klondike solitaire
devil won't play fair
red on black black on red
playing never a dread
it beats lonliness
without any mess
Inside I cry
Neath sinking eyes
Against the wind
I feel that I
Am all alone
Am all alone
Am all alone…
Goodbye
…Jeff Bresee
What's in a face when viewed for the first time
is it beauty there
that draws me in
or do i recognize some aspect
or perhaps lonliness
Form:
In the dark I am alone
Without my wife, without my son
I wish to die but then I cry
I cry, cry and cry
Till the tears in my eyes all run dry
nothing to think,
just pure sorrow,
lonliness around,
a post lamp warming the empty streets,
where am i so lost,
i dream,
to forget you ,
i saw you that day,
alone
I am gently consumed
by the days awakened soul
I sit alone
the living room engulfs me
the world surrounds me
and yet i sit alone
I will laugh
into the night
In this state of being
I'm lost in this world of emptyness
Sick with lonliness
Overwhelmed with sadness
beaten by soreness
Held down by disorderliness
Ness=State of Being
Strength a labor of time,
A work which breaks bones,
An effort which I have made mine,
While I work once again,
This time I work with friends,
With this I can go through the pain.
A soldier breathing his last breath
A scarred wife left behind
A father-less daughter contemplating death
A son-less father losing his mind
~Christopher Thor Britt
Bye bye love -
say hello
to my new goodbye.
Once I was emanating
my soul to your soul,
but now it's driven
straight into my deep taproot.
You're a stain that can't be
scrubbed up anymore.
Many abandon their pets under the delusion that they.
will comfortably live their lives in their natural wild way,
but unseen they suffer.
Unheard they cry.
In agony they linger.
In lonliness they die.
Suffocated by lonliness
Gasping for air
So lost in this world of darkness
Strangled perpetually by the hands of despair
There is a storm on the horizon
The phoenix wants to rise
I face this army fearlessly
I possess the tigers eyes
Bone damp silence pervades
A dark winter's night
On the streets of Dublin
Old tired bones rustle under cardboard
Dank smells of human neglect
Of excrement, sweat and hunger
No joyous laughter here
Just desperation, pain
And lonliness
The wind echos heartache and pain
Questioning but silence remains
Desperately waiting for change
Our future afar
Distance swallows ike quicksand
Our hearts screaming out its demands
Floating minds try to understand
and yet here we are
It is time
for someone else.
I will sit
shaded under the awning
watching the color
and clapping.
A special kind
of lonliness
resides in the audience,
smiling faintly.
They all do well.
I smile quietly.
Nobody catches my whisper.
Lonliness in a relationship comes when we stop being friends, and become a habit.
In order to find your place in life, you must first be able to find yourself.
Never leave your self standing alone. Forest are made of many trees, not just the one.
he opened the drapes to my soul
and gently stepped into my life
dusting my lonliness away
bright shining light into my day
removing cobwebs here and there
slowly mopping my fears to nought
painting a smile upon my face
so calm and clear my heart in cheer
Magnitude
Of Solitude
Hits
As she drifts
Over mountainous cliffs
Into the atmosphere
Wake her
Shake her
Falling from the skies
Eyes swell over the rim
As she cries
Feeling overwhelmingly grim
Even the social outcast
Yearns for a companion
Form:
The paper falls
The television freezes
The nusance of a sore
The site fails
The lonliness sears
The news pales
Keep going
Going in circles
Wishing and wanting, overflowing
Struggling, waiting
What's it all for?
The answer will come
When all is grating
Darkness we had
Light awaits
Life we celebrate
Death awaits
Manhood we had
Oldage awaits
Strength we had
Weakness awaits
Crowds we had
Lonliness awaits
Friendships we celebrate
Envy awaits
Love we had
Hatred awaits
Downfalls we had
Heights awaits

A heart once filled with happiness, love and stability, light as a feather it was,
now a dark scary bottomless pit left since the day you decided to walk out on me.
Never again will i be the same!
Lonliness, like a friend i find comfort in its arms. A fugitive to love, i have become.
Hindemith hindered her hibernation hopes.
How hansome harmonies hurt.
They hint at her lonliness, her homelyness.
She hunts her heart, hankering for a humdinger to hold her here.
Honour? Him?
Her hand hits a howitzer.
She hears him.
It's heady to hold.
But perhaps better to let go.
It creeps in when you least expect it
Tearing you apart- bit by bit
And all you’re left with are
The echoes of the walls
But you’re just looking for a place to belong...
Loneliness
Something so empty can
Consume so much of who you are
And everyone is so close
Yet so far...
Loneliness.
Form:
Love is just another cause for sorrow
Leaves you like an empty well
Needing to be filled up
But, instead you are devoid of all joy and happiness
Overwhelmed of feelings of lonliness
You cynical because you are utterly alone
At this table set for one
For now you are in my cistern of apathy
