Foggy Ignorance

FOGGY IGNORANCE infests mountain gardens when one uses the lenses to view others and not ones self

Eyes are telescopes

My lenses
might not always see
everything clearly
but when I focus in
I
 can
  see
    every
      detail

When people look threw
Same colored lenses viewed
Visual like mind

Plural

In other universes I did love each of you,
So much, often seen how our chemistries can brew
Through the cosmic kaleidoscopic lenses
Of all of my astral dreaming senses.

Visions Brewing

Flights of fancy, a young man's game
visions brewing, not one the same...

Dawns a slate-gray day, corrective lenses ordered
    horizon's blank ~ anticipation murdered

Summer Attraction

flamencos pose

gliding along shoreline

as lenses click

keeping finest angles---

tourist's attraction

To Me, You Are the Light

To me, you are the light
When darkness takes over
And envelops my soul
Foggy lenses block my view
And murky signs pave the way
Yet you take me through this life
With your immaculate essence

DAILY GRATITUDE- EARS AND NOSE

As someone who’s had trouble seeing without the aid of lenses
since I was a little pup…
today I’m thankful for my ears and nose….
For, without them…
I’d have no way to hold my glasses up.

Flipping perspectives

A flip

Of perspectives

Lenses changed

Newness arriving

Then and there..

A frequent story

Seeming to miss

There's no one

To witness

A flip..but that's

Another story...

Best Friends In Light Or Dark

I awake in your dimming eyes

your graying cornea, I feel your pain

through dark lenses I venture to you

even if I can't see you or you me

we'll touch hands in the dark and be pain free.

Icicles

ICICLES

On my eaves glass stalactites
Sunlight lenses sparkling pure
Formed in secret overnight
Future length of life unsure

But even if they fail and fall
They decorate my ugly wall

Hello Stranger

Hello Stranger

I miss truly wrinkle free
The promise that the glass gave me
A genie of all games I win
Reflecting light I have wings
Darkening lenses I now still see
I miss truly wrinkle free

Neil Peart Plus

fish eye lenses
pretenses
all the worlds a stage
we are merely pretenders

triple entendre
RUSH to see
the Moving Pictures

cry as they go by
taken away
from tonight's
Limelight

Two Lenses

On man-made wings, the thrill of flight,
when a window seat was youth's delight.

Now, high in sky, I’m puddled in dread.
With feet firm on the ground, I tread.

Maybe Age Is To Blame

Just got new glasses, well new lenses, same frames Expected an improvement but it seems much the same Could age be a factor My hopes are shattered Not a young whipper snapper, maybe age is to blame

Two Lenses

I close one eye and see him.
Strong, fit and slim.
On, my God, I can't help it.
I really fancy him.
Close it now and open the other.
We really are in bother.
In his socks and birthday suit.
He's showing all his blubber.

Blurred Lenses

Emotionally handicapped,
This man is but a child,
He speaks half truths of pure delusion,
When sentiment arrives,

Emotionally handicapped,
Nothing's truly sincere,
The shallow love he shows for you,
Is nothing deep or dear

Posing For His Portrait

bent frames
      smudgy lenses
      precariously
      resting on
      an aristocratic
      nose
      unkempt!
      the
      baggy
      sweatered
      professor
      exudes
      leather chair
      comfort

Two Lenses

As a child I loved to ride 'Thunderbolt" into the wind
living then rural, Thunder was my best and only friend

but now that I have grown so much older, more wise, mature
I no longer desire shoveling barns, filled with manure!

Under New Lenses

Under new lenses
I can listen through walls
Start new fires
And relive the Fall

Under new lenses
We leave our shelter
Talk like others
And lose all sound

Under new lenses
I see all faces.

And lose my own in Holy Wonder.

Captured Soul

Captured the Soul, to which I reflect.
My mind ill at ease for with whom I see.
The lenses tell the truth to my soul buy my mind,
it is telling me something else,
Captured the Soul, To which I reflect,
That puts my mind at ease.

Looking Back

setting down
my glasses
on my end
table at
the end
of the
day

i saw in my
lenses a
reflection
of perfec
tion you
looking
back at

me so i im
mediately
put my
glasses
back on
but saw
the back

of your
head in
stead
