fish eye lenses
pretenses
all the worlds a stage
we are merely pretenders

triple entendre
RUSH to see
the Moving Pictures

cry as they go by
taken away
from tonight's
Limelight

I've come to see you for inspiration. I'm trying to write a piece with a similar slick spoken word play, that you have in your poems. But the last stanza is too short. Just not working for me. Need more guidance.

Fine poem about one of my favourite bands, and most definitely the worlds best drummer. Neil's solo's are simply orchestral. Nice one ( Styx's 'Mr Roboto' ) domo arigato, James.....

very interesting . I especially like how you ended it kind of tongue and cheek it felt to me. Reminding me of the fleeting seconds of fame so many of us strive for.
