Premium Member Down Came the Gavel

Down came the gavel
    again and again
  Deafening ears
    amidst all the cheers

  Of course I was guilty
    'twas never in doubt
  Of far greater import
Would the Truth yet leak out

Poems For Fun - a Patchwork Mind

If one has a patchwork mind in his bonnet,
and the patches are not well
stitched and sewn together,
thoughts , opinions and ideas
leak out easily through the seams
and what is heard in the end
is funny screams

Yes,But

Many did come and go.
None is left ,it is just I and no You.
Memories leak out.
Truth turning into doubt .
Emptiness is all around .
Walking a thin line between sky and ground.
Eyes are shut .
All words turn into Yes ,But .

Mannequin

Dreams leak out of my mannequin head
My twisted plastic limbs are sprawled out on my bed
My expression ever frozen, in a dramatic pose
I'm not biodegradable but I want to decompose
A glue drop on my cheek to emulate a tear
I've been here 10 minutes or maybe 10 years

Growing Up

Growing up
She can directly sense
She sees colors, hears sounds
I believe it is impossible to ever be completely sure,
To believe in a body
But to be aware of all of this is a soul
A little bit of me would not leak out
If I began to bleed
I wonder if it all even exists

Let It Leak

You work on the dam wall,
As the pressure builds up behind it.
Fearful of letting anything be exposed,
You patch every potential leak.

But when the dam gets too frail and ruptures,
You’ll see how strong you are
As the all of the contents leak out and
Show the world your true strength.

Somewhere, Over the Brainslow

Somewhere, oh is my brain slow,
Birdbrains..... have I.....
That's why, I want to go,
For a brain transplant,oh, oh, my!

Somewhere along the pillow tops,
My brains leak out,
I am, slowly becoming,
The King of all fops.....

Somewhere, my IQ
Has serious leaks
That's why, I stare at walls all day,
And think that's "tops"

Poetry Vs. the Flu

My head is stuffed, my brain is fried
and still the poems wait inside,
They leak out of my eyes and ears
and laugh at me with grumpy jeers.
I am a wreck, I feel so sick
and still the poems leak and stick.
They glue me to the creaky chair
until I write them in the air
and freeze them down, forever be,
persistent friends, my poetry...

Premium Member Snooze

Abrupt deep snooze
From heavy booze

In a swift pile
Deep slumber styles

Heavy strange snores
Flood noise galore

Slumber can speak
Strange motifs peak

Stupor styles plain
Such ***** refrains

Talk in your sleep
On drowsy trip

Secrets leak out
In cryptic shout

Abrupt sleep train
Words slip in vain

Words of Loss

Hand written love notes
from no one
smeared like roses
across your pillow
bed sheet hand prints
lingering smell of rain
dead skin dust collects
on a dresser not opened
for millions of seconds.
tears leak out of the ceiling
to stain a picture frame
filled by your loved one lost
memories like children's laughs
collect on your skin like dew
memories locked away, face blank
it's so hard to remember
it's so easy to forget.

Flying Ocean

When you awake without me
Sun shining in you eyes,
Making your tears shine
Let them fall.
When tomorrow starts
And I am not there
I wish you would not cry,
Thinking over things you did not get to say in time.
Feel it all
But without the shimmer
As the feelings leak out
So do I.
Hold on to me,
But don't let me be the anchor.
Heal without my presence
Make yourself feel,
But don't become an ocean.
Let me drown in you,
And never let me escape.
