For the Rest of My Life

This leading light
Light heading
Me on to my destiny
And as I ring
The bell
Get down
On one knee
Open the case
A silent prayer
For the rest of my life

Light

Light should be given to all
Leading light is the best example
Loamy land is farmers' favourite
Lubed words smoothly go deep
Land softly on reader mind
Language of fact, reality, and truth
Last for long years, if not forever

Harry and Meghan

We are shouting a massive hurrah
America provides a future princess
a leading light, now our superstar
Harry she did certainly impress,

A fairy tale wedding in the making
time to be happy, celebrate, rejoice,
events like this are groundbreaking
our prince of taste, a wonderful choice.

Light of the Night

I noticed a glimmer,
or was it a shimmer,
right here with me,
in this very room.

The sparkle of charcoal,
held high, but suspended,
catching the eyes
and slicing the loom.

Creating a place,
inspiring grace,
embodied in each smile,
and each desire to linger awhile.

Indescribable power,
a leading light tower,
in the eye's of the tiger,
the man with the dream of the hour.

Quicksand

After the death, mediocre paperweights rule
on the pages of life.
The leading light will wander in ruins for
centuries.
Hot winds spray the sparking dust on
smooth posts,
desert picks up the artist trapped in confusion
 I pray for the rains.

Give me a chance. I want to replay the
forgotten script.
Can you spread a blanket on the wounds
that were not mine?
Nobody gives a call. They were overshooting
the quicksand.

The Night

When the night gets to its utmost
Darkness and loneliness follow
When you shiver out of frost
Filling it up what so hollow.
Find your way out before get lost;
Before the night have you swallowed.

Put your head up high; find your leading light;
Keep searching even if it is not so bright.
Do all your best and start to pray;
Even how hard it is; you’ll find your way;
Give yourself a chance to breathe as you go by;
With Pure feelings can put up with anything; just try.

Lost

As morning breaks gently, night goes to sleep.
deep blue sky reminds me of the colour
of your eyes as you left, begin to weep,
you fade, horizons become much duller,

ripples create visions on calm waters
mist dances, swirling spiritual soul
reflects silhouettes, distorting borders,
you broke my heart, unable to console.

now sad day turns into a dark cold night
futureless, endless grief, total despair
no longer my director, leading light,
life's hard, uncompromising, so unfair.
