Wearing the green was to me,
A privilege beyond compare.
Some simply cannot see
How to say this I would even dare.
I really care not that they
Do not understand why I share.
They have not entered the fray
Could it be that they do not care?
The freedom that the green has secured
Gives them the right to their views.
The wearers of it have matured
While many at home chose to snooze.
