Uh-Oh Makes a Boo-Boo - Oops
Uh-oh met Oops
made an egregious error
Mistook Oops for Boo-boo
thought a kiss'd make it better
Oops lashed out
called Uh-oh a name
Boo-boo's not cured ~
Is Uh-oh to blame...

Were Startled and Cringed
Were Startled and Cringed
We had become startled and then cringed,
Loser Trump lashed out and was unhinged;
We would wonder,
About his thunder;
His stupid hair looked ugly like it is singed.

Limerick
Crossroad of Distortion
Flipped upside down.
Shaken as if inside a snowglobe.
Caught napping.
Cruel fate has snuck upon me, and lashed out with the force of thunder.
Feeling as if discarded.
Rubbish of yesterday.
Approaching a crossroad that is distorted.
Going not right or left, but rather up and down.
Up to hope.
Down to dispair.
I'm compelled distally, like insect to flame.
Wisdom prods me.
I simply move forward....

I do not know?
Pain
Pain so deep,
It cuts as it reaps.
It plays for keeps.
I sip from the haunted cup of emotion that leaves remnants on my lip
And back I’ve slashed with a cutting whip.
Feel my heart rip!
I paid as deathly as love laid.
So many peircings my tears made,
I fade!
I lashed out with a jagged blade.
Blood spilled over white sheets stained with shame.
This is how the red plague came.
Why does red pain rain?
Poison will profane!...

I do not know?
Thinking
Thinking
"come fluttering words, come drifting words to me . . . "
Thinking of the boy last night,
Who stole into her room,
Who really got the biggest fright,
When she lashed out with the broom.
Yes he was nice but out of order,
Sad eyed he fled away ,
She didn’t see him here today,
Second thought’s about the boarder.

I Didn'T See
Calm on the outside
Anything but on the inside
Mysterious
Hoped we had a bond
But I missed my chance
I didn’t understand
What you hid deep within
You hurt You cried
Deep on the inside
I couldn’t see
I couldn’t help
I was an outsider
My hands were tied
I couldn’t see
I couldn’t help
Then you lashed out
At everyone
Including me
Most especially because
I didn’t see
I didn’t help

Angelic Analysis
Europe's concerned
The world will burn
Russia's a tad worried
Her ambitions may be buried
Mr. Obama's lashed out and chided
His country's withdrawal as "seriously misguided"
Ordinary residents of the Middle East
Do not want to unleash war's beast...
High up in the sky
Beyond where eagles dare fly
One angel confessed to the Good Lord, his Friend:
I was counting on Mr. Trump
To act like a Chump--
Did he? ~ 'Think the world's gonna end?'...

The Day She Cracked
Her emotions percolated, hot and unsettled
until she exploded, shattering reality.
Loud, angry words punctured our hearts
as she lashed out at everyone and no one.
Her eyes darted, a mixture of hurt
accusation and confusion.
Disjointed words, rambling thoughts
paranoia, all flung and strung
hovering in the air.
We groped in vain for a soothing balm
to comfort her fractured mind.
A broken vessel takes time to mend
but it is never quite the same....

Species of Serendipity
Serendipity is a welcome friend
Who lashed out as if she knew what she as doing.
She took my hand and wrenched me near
Juiced my heart of its pursuing.
And right there, of a sudden, in front of me
Was something so sweet, so immensely grand
I shook myself free, knowing it couldn’t be;
For who would care to touch my heart?
To let me feel in a warm wrap of zeal
That was blown apart?
The days of late, the nights of gone
Have left me empty
An empty being with nothing
But a song....
