A Trouble From Future

The
girl
borrowed
trouble from
future world full of
improbabilities that meant
the cat she brought to us and we gave her milk and soup
must be a fizzy ,fuzzy, improbable creature back to past to lap up our milk.

Urge

i could despise you
so easy, loathe your
eyes & the way they
lap up my body when
i enter the room. but
i can't help my urge
my need to purge you
from the world's impurity-
i can only follow you,
step by step in your
footprints, waiting for
you to fall.

I wonder

How do birds know when dawn’s pink-feathers will unfold?
How do trees trap sky between triangles of leaves?
How does the honey-sun melt yellow on dandelion flowers?

And how does the moth of dusk brush colours away
so the black-night-cat can lap up the moon in her bowl?

The Only Thing That Matters

Search the world
for your treasures,
lap up luxury,
fondle greed,
eschew the lowly
and humble
while your ego
struts naked before
a disdainful world.

But I would give up
Shakespeare's crown
and the touch of Midas
to seek the only thing
that matters-- to be
in God's good grace.

Premium Member what keeps me from sunbathing nude

I lap up the rays of the sun
in my private country yard
away from other people’s eyes

I could sunbathe nude
no one would know
because I don’t post everything I do on social media

the one thing that is keeping me from stripping down
is the giant fly biting my foot over and over.
Ouch!

Just a Memory

Squeeze the air right out my chest,
You always gave me your best.
Lap up the residue,
With your speech,
You always loved… like a leech.
Carve your initials into my bare frame,
Even in the light you’re still the same.
Infuse me with your wild fire,
Until,
I have nothing
left to give.

Happy Places

Happy places are here and gone
And without so much temptation
Put away those pills and drinks
Pick out the smiling faces
You're always so depressing

Pour a glass of lemonade
Lap up the rays of light
All aboard the rainbow yacht
Call up the kids and wife
Entwine yourself in something real
Stop staring at the sun

Delicious

You make the music
this solemn heart beats like a drum when you're in view
an arrangement full of ache pulls from under my skin
  drawn to you, your vibration
I lap up every sound spilling from your lips
 tasting your silver tounge
soul instrumentation, how delicious is this sin
A willing victim of your siren song

Far Beneath

you
solar eclipse
bloody lips
& tongue;
body wrung
my eyes drip-
you lap up my
pain like a
hungry beast,
growling thru
gritted teeth.
love lies insulted
far beneath;
above me you strain,
heavy sheets of
rain- heart
beats harder,
drowning in the
pulsing body as
the bruise is
being prodded.
tickled, you delight
watching the night
swallow me whole.

A misty morning
Saturated with Satiated clouds
Idling away in seamless space
Drizzling its cool soothing showers
Over our whole being
While Soaking all with sprinkling laughter
We began to generate gyrating steps

With our arms
Hailing the peeping sun
Who waking up a million eyes
Began to lap up the trickled laughter
While warming every willing soul
Forming an epic fusion

A Little Dose

The waves lap up against the shore,
A soothing sound that I adore.
I’ve heard this many times before
Yet always, it’s appealing.

Aside from sea gulls, there’s no sound.
Off-season, no one is around,
So when I hear the wavelets pound,
Relaxed is how I’m feeling.

My normal anxious state recedes.
The ocean rules; my mind accedes,
For this is what my body needs,
A little dose of healing.

The Predator

Remember your little pinafore?
You were sixteen.
I? Twenty-Four.

Now here you come through that door.
I spill out of my dress and on to the floor.
Lap up the moisture like a dog
So you may quench your thirst.

I become a sultry fog.
And on this mostly perfect night
Of my mostly miserable life
I mute the garish city lights.

Your pure childhood fantasy;
You'll soon hate me;
You'll see.

Lap Up the Wonder

And sometimes I wonder
I wonder through the midnight lullabies
And short simple messages
I wonder through paralysed fingers
Typing a goodnight
And though curtains call to be drawn
And dusty roads beckon to be tread
In warm summer mornings
Following the sleepless nights
I wonder
Where would I be without the precious few -
The precious few that give me a lap
For a cushion to rest my tired eyes?

Heartful

"HArTfUL"

Free from the air. Dream of the care. Love lifts light thru
cliffs of dim hazel blue drifts. Lazy wind and breeze embrace the spill from all the waste. Grey green emerald skies
lap up the white flaked night. Riffs of scales and sounds
and fables. All to see,all to believe, all together, all to gather.
Fill the void slowly.Don't let your heart overflow.
