Lap Up the Wonder

And sometimes I wonder I wonder through the midnight lullabies And short simple messages I wonder through paralysed fingers Typing a goodnight And though curtains call to be drawn And dusty roads beckon to be tread In warm summer mornings Following the sleepless nights I wonder Where would I be without the precious few - The precious few that give me a lap For a cushion to rest my tired eyes?
