Between the Legs of Dogma
The artistry of the dogmatic
Lies upon the breaths that are bated
Unwanted sarcasm tossed
Though often musters hostility

And the branches arc
With each split decision
Affirms the logic
Behind each laceration...

Laceration
Snatching them by their head
Pinning them to the ground
Tearing off their limbs
Pouring water on their wounds
Standing up and carrying them inside
Showing them to your mother
She stares and says:
“What did you do to those poor ants?”...

Premium Member Taboo
Untrue but repeated again and again;
You made me believe I wasn't worth it
taboo of a friend blasphemy for a partner;
Overdue to see this behavior as unfit;

Whatever you said became a laceration
never did you lay a hand on me;
Pressure to avoid landmines left carnage,
weathered now I'm immune to fallacy....

If You Really Love Me
You see no scars and laceration

But it doesn't define that I'm not wounded

I smell and looked great to you

Hey! It just my make-up and perfume

But If you really want me

Caress me no matter what season

Stand firmed for your reason

Embraced me as I am

Love even my demons

Befallen Slave
Befallen slave,
la ractera,
the child of night,
corrupt.

Upon whip's handle,
laceration,
feeds the shelves,
the cradle starved.

Cyphera encountus,
abacus is nay appalled
...with corpse's heart;
lest the starving wallet beat.

St. Valentine's anniversary
covertly taints it's favorite treat.

Puerto Rico
In the darkness of the night
I see your star shine bright
I hear the cries of our people
trying to be seen as equal
I feel your resilient heart
being torn apart
the desperation, indignation, exasperation
They insult us with their words
their ignorance, unconcern, and condemnation
but despite it all, we shall rise
and never compromise
The pure hearts that we share
The proud people of this nation
We shall overcome despite their laceration...

Premium Member Way Above My Station
I like the idea of pirate-ation and fabrication,

Peter Pan being my dearly, dastardly fascination.

I decorate my yard with Tinkerbell decoration,

Tastefully, smartly, and in gentle moderation.

So when do you want the big celebration?

To announce the salutations of Captain Hook at the beautification?

I am sorry, but you cannot leave it up to me. It is way above my station.

Plus, I’m running to the nurse to show her my serious laceration....

No Chance
No chance, so died the seed
of love in germination, and did
not grow to be,
failed and withered on the vine;
my aching heart must bleed
of spectral laceration, and bid
the tears fall free
for what was almost mine.

No chance to say goodbye,
only rapid termination, and plough
my essence deep,
furrows burning cold and dead;
for who or what I cry
had a life by implication, and now
the dreams of sleep
are all I have to hold instead....

Premium Member Bruises of Amour
Poked just once and you left a hole
stole what was in my arsenal;

Wounded with a laceration
now closer to no emotion;

Pincushion heart takes every prick,
the act can be so sadistic;

A needle’s eye a gaping wound,
bitterly mauled and then consumed;

So much space to make a mess of
thinking you fit me like a glove;

Softer than you want to admit
the marks remain after the hit;

Each stab paints a different color
bruises that look just like amour....

Infection
You'd never believe the things I've seen.
You can't even begin to fathom the things I believe in.
So tainted
So morbid
So infected
Life is nothing but an infection.
Yea,
A bloody laceration
Deep into the flesh
Nothing but an infection.
MInd's tainted plain
Heart's tainted black
Soul's so infected
Life is nothing but an infection
Yea,
A dripping wound
Carved into the flesh
Nohting but an infection
Yea,
Life is nothing but an infection.

Premium Member I Dreamed a Dream a Dream of Sacrifice
I dreamed a dream, of Him,
kneeling in a verdant garden,
only he could nurture.
A place of peace and pardon.

     He gazes, locked favoring heaven,
sorrow steals his sight and soul,
whilst darkness hardens.

     I witness in fear, whilst he bled
from severe innumerable laceration on his flesh.
A scarlet robe and woven crown,
a difficult heavy cross for him to bear.

    Through shameful tears, to gather near and meet,
walked close, knelt at his feet.

The Drone Guy
My ears perked up at Bauer
When the radio talked sports.
A player for the Indians,
By all the news reports,

Was set to pitch Game 2
(The Series winding towards the end)
When he had a "pinkie laceration,"
Needing time to mend.

He'll get to start Game 3, they hope,
His hobby left alone,
For Trevor Bauer's injury
Was blamed upon his drone.

When baseball Bauers hit the news,
(I've 2 of them to thank)
I won't claim kinship to the drone guy,
Just to Cousin Hank!*

(not true!)...
