November In Kentucky
November in Kentucky
Outside my windows
Morning is gray again.
November kidnaps the sunrise sun
Leaving gray,
Day after day,
Weakening the spirit…
So eyes close
Casting sight to blackness
That drifts to dreaming
Radiant scenes.

Lock Down
The bogey man is here
Uncle Gunnysack
No longer hiding in English peat bogs
The Bag Man who carries a bag and kidnaps those who don't behave
Do you hear him knocking
Why don’t you want to go to bed
He will take you away if you wont obey your parents
He will pull you up into tiny holes in the ceiling
A siren will sound when all is safe...

Dirty Hands
Dirty hands
Caress the evil pumpkin
Light shines bright
The candle burns from within
Attracting the lost souls near
The air dissolves
Where the ghosts reside
They come swiftly
Speaking a tongue
Foreign to our lives
Fear swells inside
The darkness harbors my soul
And kidnaps my lost being
The whirlwind
Of the deep dark night
Allows fear to thrive
