Soulmate

Have you met yours?
Your soulmate, your angel?
Unlike Cinderella - this it is no fable

Everyone has one
You just never know
A friend, a stranger
You just you never know

Keep your eyes open
You mind open too
One day they will
They'll make their way to you

I'D Rather Fall Asleep Then Fall In Love

Holdin on to the last piece of my heart

Keep your eyes open even when it's dark

You stole a part of me and tried to give it back

But I thought I saw the light right before the crack

I don't want what you have to offer; you've given me enough

I'd rather fall asleep then to fall in love

After Watchcing Goldfinger

Sometimes I think I should
identify more with Goldfinger
    than with James Bond
    A little heartlessness
is essential for survival
A pretty face
   may hide
 an evil heart
So keep your eyes open
and listen to Shirley sing
I plan on seeing "Skyfall" this week
    while getting a LICENSED massage

The Black Tower

The modern day tree of life,
Spinning in space,
Feeding lies to the population,
Through communication,
Computers,Television,I pods,
To the new generation,
It looks like a tall tree with black branches of electronic arms.
Do not watch tv, do not surf the net,
Do not use the phone,
Keep your eyes open.

Premium Member There's You

There's things that are pleasant to look at
A sunset is one comes to mind
There's all kinds of nice things to witness
They're right there, they're not hard to find
You'll see if you keep your eyes open
There's people who fit this bill too
There's attractive, there's pretty, there's beautiful,
There's gorgeous, there's stunning, there's you

Keep Your Eyes Open

K-eep your eyes open,
A-s you see the morning light;
R-ight after the dawn breaks,
E-vening fades into the
N-ight.

G-et up from your slumber,
O-n the second of January;
N-ow is the time to reach
Z-enith or blaze of glory.
A-llow your ears to hear,
L-isten to the voice from heaven;
E-ternal life is in store,
S-o keep your eyes open.

Jealousy

i'm a jealous man
and to tell you the truth
i hate it when you speak with my foes
you are so good
they say you cannot hate
but love keep your eyes open
before you come to your senses when it's late
you will have a knife stabbed on your back
read what i wrote about the evil men
they do not get along with me
how can they love you
when they they cannot stand the elbow of your eye

Iceburg

In the North Atlantic,
an iceberg leaned
toward the Titanic,
popping pins and crunching steel,
sinking the unsinkable.

A cold hush followed
the ship's first shudder,
as life's moments shifted
to death's minutes,
touching the untouchable.

Sometimes danger lurks
just below the surface.
Best to slow down,
and keep your eyes open before
fathoms become unfathomable.

Open

Keep your mind open for a world of
memories is being created.
Keep your heart open for a world of love is
being developed.
Keep your spirit free for you already know
what is coming.
Keep your mouth speaking for you dont
know who you are defending.
Keep your eyes open for you to see the
beauty in front of you.
And last.
Keep that amazing soul open for the love
to find its way in.

Love

When I couldn’t sleep,
You were there.

No matter what it was,
Including nightmares.

Your words were comforting,
Along with your voice.

Loving you,
Wasn’t my choice.

You can’t be here,
But you’re in my heart.

Now things are coming together,
Not falling apart.

You coming in my life,
 Teaching me to live

Saying not to forget,
But to always forgive.

Love everyone,
No matter what.

And keep your eyes open,
And never let them shut.

The Truth Comes Out

The truth comes out
When you're half asleep
So exhausted you can barely keep your eyes open
The truth comes out

As the days go by
Slaving away for the man
So busy you forget about those who hold you dear
As the days go by

Grasping at a dream
Of feeling the river of love
One day at a time waiting for answers to be near
Grasping at a dream

The truth comes out
When you least expect
Smooth sailing words from the subconscious speak
The truth comes out

Keep Your Eyes Open

Keep your eyes open
Ears and nose to the wind
Inspiration will come
To your senses my friend

Whether poet or painter
Writer, sculptor or king
Observing surroundings
Will bring songs to sing

If you seek to know nothing
Stick your head in the sand
Make up what you want to
Do not understand

Then close your eyes tightly
Pinch nose, muffle ears
Close and lock doors and windows
Live inside with your fears

Just Keep Your Eyes Open

J-ust keep your eyes open,
E-very time you wake up;
B-ecause anything can happen,
Z-one of danger doesn't flop.
E-yes of you must stay open, be aware of the things around;
L-et your faith and trust keep your life safe and sound.

A-im at the true message
R-evealed in the right way;
A-fter the worship service,
N-inth of July Sunday.
D-on't let your vision fade
I-nto the air neath the heaven;
A-llow not sight sense to close, just keep your eyes open.

Think

We cannot give up now
The fight has just begun
The world around us as we know it
Is just passing by
We have to be careful
Of what we do and what we say
Can’t speak too much to this person
Or it might get away
Misunderstandings are plenty,
Like a delusion in a pattern
What you think you heard
is not what you saw
So, keep your eyes open plenty
Make sure everything gets through
You did hear what you thought you did
And, you definitely saw what you thought..

Oldham Bloke Based On Real Incident

The Oldham bloke passed me as I walked down the road
Passing me on the footpath
He was small with a slight limp
Wearing blue jeans and a black jacket
He uttered a comment:
You are a bastard
I replied: What did you call me?
He said: I wasn't talking to you, you idiot!
I added: Be careful
That's 2 insults from him
Being rude to me without knowing me
A fine example of a local male
Who I immortalised in this poem and tell you
Keep your eyes open for him
Be ready for his words
