Katana Slashings
Do words serve the meaning,
or meaning the words
Simply delivered,
complexity heard
Muddled presentment,
the message undone
Brevity pointed,
to pierce zero-sum
(The New Room: December, 2021)...

Shadow Soilders of the Empire
Katana sheathed
head high
adrenalin pumped
step with steps of air
creep upon the unaware
stride up behind
slide silently out the sword
fingers griped into hair
blade of steel hard and cold
one quick flex and blood is shed
now my enemy is dead...

Where God Lives
A Nordic says "God lives in Asgard"
A Jew says "God lives in Heaven"
A Mayan says "God lives in the 13 Heavens"
A Samurai says "God lives in the Katana sword"
A Gnostic says "God lives within us"
If God was to be asked where he lives,
which abode do you think he would say?...

The Word I Spit
The word i spit
is so venomous
step away from the fangs
razor sharp
will cut u deep
like a katana squared
double edged
no taking hostages
run quick
coz my spit
is so sick
it will
cause
explosions
in your mental
with the force
of three supernova's
for when its all over
i will be the star that was birthed...

The Presence
He sensed the presence before he saw it
Taking out the glowing katana he gave chase
At exhilarating speed through the sleep town
The presence eluded him taking to the skies
The rural village for now will stay safe
From the influence of dark invaders
The people will be safe and live on
No official record of the event will exist...

Katana :: Arkaham Ballad
Katana, famous sword, used by
Samurai in Japan.
In ancient Japan for sword fight
they were taught to use their full might.
High order fight by man.
High order fight by man with goal
striking without thinking
with sword as it'd give opponent
to strike blow to kill that moment.
Deadly fight for winning.

Fallen Sun
10/5/2009
I. The Bloom
Delicate flower,
sleeping endlessly dreaming
Patiently waiting
White horizon, winter peace,
release tears reluctantly.
II. The Village
Boxes in spaces,
old wooden tatami floor
Summers breath still held within
Outside streets, shuffling feet,
their chatter less foreboding.
III. The Animosity
Blood-stained katana,
glinting insinuation,
fell against ground....

Seeing Red
If you keep spitting lines
Gonna need a katana to cut through
All of your dropping du bovines
You wipe me off of your shoe
While I measure you up
For your funeral fashion debut
Upon my fist you shall sup
Come on read me the signs
Can't keep breaking them in two
Your lack berry whines
Shall loose your teeth a few
-------------
I was in a bad mood so I took a few minutes to spit this out. Enjoy...

Unneeded Weapon
A samurai knows when to take off his armor..
That is when there is more honor to be won from the battle he fights..
I've taken off my armor..
It now hangs on my wall..
I bow in respect to it everyday; for it has witnessed many battles and has
withstood many blows..
I put down my Katana*..
It is back in its Saya*..
A weapon no longer needed..
For a warrior long defeated..
*Katana: A Japanese sword
*Saya: A katana's sheath...

Samurai Warrior's Master
Sound of a sad flute creeps around the temple,
as the Katana sword slides away from its scabbard;
it is slid with so much care;
as though it is a five centuries-old Buddha’s
statue.
Its blade glitters in the ghostly Autumn full moon,
fooling anyone to believe it hasn't slit
any throat, belly, or chest.
The Katana and the Samurai warrior are One;
he has a calling to obey its whispers in his intuition,
to slit whoever it chooses….
