Julie

Julie and Jim
she a stealing
he is a grilling
together their milling
she a chilling
he a pleading
she a cruzing
he a bruzing
she a flitting
he is a hurting

I'm a bad boy, and it is uncanny
How I always get hit on my fanny.
If I could get my paws...
What I mean, Santa Claus -
I wish Julie Andrews for my nanny.

Music, both sacred and profane,
an elephant in cellophane,
a boa constrictor bowing a cello,
aluminum and lemon Jello -
these are things Ms. Andrews missed
as on her favorite things, she dished.

Julie Andrews was like a queen when she appeared on the stage and the screen. Julie played Maria Von Trapp, Mary Poppins, and Guinevere. With her talent, she was someone we had to revere.

Julie

A beautiful woman
who has the power to transform my soul;
sweet captivation,
breathless enchantment, I lose my control;
spells suspend reason,
a siren stare which I cannot withstand,
emboldened by love,
filled with such longing when I hold her hand.

Julie Andrews

Julie Andrews
Eat your heart out
My sound of music
Owns these hills
The pretty painted trees and all
The freedom sloped on every side
The Hudson hovering beyond
These psychedelic theaters that nature cooks by itself
Auf wiedersehen, frauline
These hills are alive with me.

Julie

Justified in admiration, she's loathe to believe.
Unbeknownst to her the reasons others do perceive.
Languished in a life compared, she feels that she is wanting.
Instead of despair from that which she finds daunting,
Eventually she steels herself against all doubt;
opening her heart to let her love come pouring out.

Just that one girl,
Under the influence of romantics,
Living for love,
In deception of useless antics,
Every thing she could want,
Lying to a mask,
Often subject to a taunt,
Vulnerable to it's grasp,
Ever living in tomorrow,
Living for the waking dawn,
Enlightenment found in sorrow,
Sorrow never did her wrong,
Softly romantic yet viciously loving.

Julie

I exist

I exist
Only in my sadness
I exist
Only in my nightmares
I exist
Only in a painting

She paints the faces
Of those who have no face
She paints the dreams
Of those who held no hope
She paints
As I die inside my poems

Ink and paint both dry
We are small dots
On the map of gods canvass
No tear shall change
All the dancing graves

{Hey, Where'd My Audience Go?}

Broke, Julie became a sexy stripper
Soon her bank account was pretty chipper
  Her boyfriend treated her well
  Then they moved to Israel
Julie's first performance was Yom Kippur

synagogue and fasting on Yom Kippur
night and day.

Premium Member En Masse: Your Okay Because I Love You, Julie

Laden in morning rises,
finding me in your irises
my creativity waits gently on the other side of this door
that creaks soft with hums that
hem your hair behind your perfect ears.

We're all children on couches
falling in our fresh and sudden thoughts
with bottomless candor,
pressing lips against young and flaming worries.

The door is swung open now
and unknown flowers are singing en masse.

For Julie

Where are you?
Here am I.
I long to have you
by my side.

To have and hold
each passing day;
without your love
I'd lose my way.

A letter, a phone call
just can't replace,
the way that I feel
when I first see your face.

If only I could see
through a door opened wide,
you standing there
wanting me by your side,

I could face the next day
and the sun it would shine;
as visions of you
linger on in my mind

Start in the middle,
Where all warmth and understanding lies.
Then make your way to the ridge,
To the very edge of all-known splendour,
Just so that you know,
(At least you think you know)
How far you can go.

Then dump it all out,
(The middle, the ridges, the warmth)
And just kiss her.
Make her shoot out of her boots.
Kiss her, kiss her, and then kiss her.

Because for you, and her, and the world,
There's no hope in getting less sillier.

You are my autumn you are my spring
you are the reason my heart starts to sing

You are my summer you are my fall
You are my everything you are my all

You are my sunshine you are my snow
You are my sadness when you must go

You are my sea you are my land
You are my strength when I cannot stand

You are my voice you are my eyes
You are my laughter and my surprise

You are my angel from heaven above
You are the reason I continue to love .

Sheryl and Julie

Sheryl was as strong as a rose
Her beauty matched the finest petal
But it was the thorns which were like a tornado,
Taking its toll on all but a few left astray

Julie acted like a queen
Her smarts were outnumbered
But it was the power which held her down,
The wrath of it all was too strong

Sheryl and Julie would search till the end of time
To find what they needed
Their patience and understanding matched the clock,
But the tick of each second drove them insane
