Where are you?
Here am I.
I long to have you
by my side.
To have and hold
each passing day;
without your love
I'd lose my way.
A letter, a phone call
just can't replace,
the way that I feel
when I first see your face.
If only I could see
through a door opened wide,
you standing there
wanting me by your side,
I could face the next day
and the sun it would shine;
as visions of you
linger on in my mind
