I didn’t mean to stub my toe
At two I cry
At fifteen I swear
At twenty one I don’t even notice
At thirty two I wake up in a jail cell
At forty? WTF
One can not fight in a war
when one does not believe in what one is fighting for.
One who would rather serve time in a jail cell
than throw their moral convictions to hell
is just as much a hero in my eyes
as any brave veteran recognized.
A child grows, but not the way you hoped
both strong willed and wayward thinking
troubled teens and young manhood
lead to a troubled life
drugs and a jail cell
anger and doubt
never heard
that screams
pain
For the contest "A Nonet"
Wedding dress rides bicycle.
She cracked ribs staring in my window.
Crocodile teardrops jail cell.
Peat shale lignite.
Venus squaw bean.
Police car mother death.
Late September,
Drugstore beads. sandalwood.
As I sit here in this jail cell
where evil spirits and demons feast.
I can feel the hatred around me
here in the belly of the beast.
With each shouted curse or scream of pain
the evil around me grows.
I'm a single Christian Soldier
where the enemy forces flow.
spiritual
conversations
screaming
the jail cell
where the wickedness festers
like worms on a plate
of sacred bread
eaten in secret
and divided amongst the disciples of Hell
A clown car or an elevator?
A forest or a meadow?
Sad or happy?
The choice is yours.
Pink polka dots or Linen Gray?
A kitchen accident or a freight train?
Joyfulness or Melancholy?
The choice is yours.
A magical kingdom or a jail cell?
Pie or cheese?
Excitement or Boredom?
The choice is yours.
There was once a fella named Dan
Who always ran from the tax man
Till he woke up in jail cell
And he began to just yell
Uncle Sam threw his butt in the can

The Rioteer
There was a rioteeering lady named Trixie,
Who with folks of her kind liked to mixy.
With bats and rocks she headed out,
To hit an officer in his snout.
She now does time in a jail cell in Dixie!

Poem # 2017
Poisoning his body ever since she left;
right up close, yet a million miles away.
Meth-lab;
got rehab.
Wasting away in his jail cell,
he's straight to heaven, yet living in hell.
Right up close, yet a million miles away.
Knock on wood; hope he stays good.
In spite of strife, she took his life;
she was supposed to be his wife.
I sat down on my jail cell bed,my head was spinning i started to sweat!
The room was dim the was were cold.....
That's how the was told.....Smacked face first on the ground, body shaking there was no sound....
As i was lay on the floor, next thing i know they opened the door.....
rushing in,down on me i only seen what i wanted to see....
The room was dim the walls were cold, now that's how the story will be told!
Who can i run to,who can i tell
I feel like i'm barred up in lonely jail cell
Where can i go,where can i run
I want to escape because this is not fun
Why do i try,why can't i quit
I'm addicted to your love and i can't get enough of it
Wonders of a soulless dreamer
Categorized by your heart
The morals of today's society at one rest stop
I must venture away from what is keeping me too close
To something but doesn't spiritually fulfills
My youth and my womanly growth
