introversion is irresponsibly irresistible in inculpatory immoderation
(Weekly Magnetic Poetry Challenge • July 20–26, 2026)
Train passes by no common world incursion
It’s closed space with internal lumination
The passengers in drowsy introversion
Each a universe of personal fixation

Lucidity
Leaping to another plane
Underneath a linen sheet;
Casting from my calm domain
In the quiet trance of sleep.
Dancing through a fiery rain,
Introversion, thinking deep,
Taunting thoughts throughout my brain,
Yes, I’m finally complete.
RELAPSITATE
A slowed down suicide.
Seems life is so temporary
Ambiguous meanings
Insidious good-byes
I retreat
Internalize
Introversion
How do I battle
This conflict I hold within
How do I conquer ?
Conquer myself!
Defeated again and again.
How long can I take it?
Will my Will ever win?
How long till I break it
How loyal is this friend?
How long till the end?
Now.
The end.
An awkward chuckle
Escapes my lips
White knuckles
Teeth grit
I don’t poke fun
Or humiliate
I get your pun
It isn’t great
I bear the burden
Of your ego
My introversion
Takes the blow
The problem is
You’re not clever
As lame as it is
I must endeavor
Feeling abashed
And quite dumbfounded
I chose to stash
How bad you sounded
I lose the grace
I had before
To save your face
I shake my core
Asymmetrical
Gawky, inept
Your spectacle
My debt
Majestic rugged, crude beauty without any questions,
Angling at the inside, asking for my equations,
Jesting with me almost, whispering that I emerge,
Endeared to quiteness, where introversion and shyness converge,
Sat solidly going nowhere, waiting for my feelings,
Teetering on being a person to me with sayings,
Into me, loving my epigraph, my statement and my picture,
Calling me even more so, to fidget with my conjecture.
