Her power animals snort and hiss.
She hears Grandmother Sky, who is persistent.
Sage wisdom oozes into her mind state

Failed Disposition
Defining failure my disposition from you,
never seemingly doing your right thing to do.
Internalized lost character, anger held within,
left feeling I am the worst man amongst men.
Agonizing pains clarity as the truth is disagreed,
drops fall upon drops in red rivers my heart bleeds.
Terrorized mentality stamped into catatonics state,
running from fates destiny in between love and hate.

Envelopes, like cantaloupes,
Emptied vessels cast aside.
Harbors of wayward ships,
Collection plates to take inside,
Internalized...
Emptiness, is nothing less,
Bleeding ulcers seeping in,
Burning edges outward in,
The constant pain that lives within.
Uninsulated...
The inner core, the apple seed,
The heart of love is beating still.
The tidal flow to sooth the sand,
The lover's hand to touch and fill.
Remembering...
The joy, the warmth, of god within.
Because you love everything you do
This job is just right for you
Every child that has crossed your path
Has taken something special back
You make a difference in their lives
You make each child want to learn and thrive
Although you may not understand
What an impact you’ve caused in them
Because those little eyes are always on you
With every little thing you do

Without a head
There is no rudder
Worth turning,
And this is the age of headlessness.
Not so much from the guillotine
As from lobotomies
By schools and doctors, TV and social media,
Started when young from outside
But ultimately internalized
Into self-lobotomization.
This is the path of maturation today
Growing up to do what is required
To further the Greater Good
No need to even pretend to keep your head down
And eyes averted
When you have no head.
