A Credo To Live By
Path of righteous indignity is mine.
Won't tolerate cruelty...
There but for grace goes I.

War, That Great Indignity
"Might is right!" What's rung out.
On the side of "good".
Tis unanimous! With
Battles, fought and won.
Regardless, from whose throne
King of King's, peace-sat
Humanity loses.
Victory to none!...

Black Heat
Burning all day long without end
blazing a path of indignity a mile long
buffering the pain ounce by ounce
blending suffering and sorrow
balancing the left side of wrong with all that's right
benefiting everyone ath the buffet but me...

I'Ll Call It Something Else Or Nothing At All
i see what you call love
the unknowing and uncertainty
the disbelief and not understanding
i see what you call love
the obscene and indignity
all the peices and blocks
i see what you call love
and it all falls down
i'm not looking for love...

Indignity Imagined Valerie
Imagine the indignity suffered

Whilst being told by someone

Not in the know

Why you are covering another
artist's song

Because they would never
believe

I wrote Valerie

Not Amy

Although she got to No 1 and
ended up becoming famous
for it

And i only got it to No 24 in the
charts

Never became famous and why
apart from Google No 1 knows
my name...

Premium Member Not Yet Ready - After Dylan Thomas's Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night
Don’t greet death gently.
Those dreary and greyed,
stay, hold, ignore
that feral, frail, reality.
Ignore gainsayers that say
those eternal days of flotage
on the edge of the great end,
dearly holding on,
are beyond their strength.
Death is the great design
for those that forgat
the indignity of being.
Linger on longer, oh ghost.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light....

As He Died For Us
Held fast by hatred's unholy crucible,
Drawn limbs taking leave of sockets blue.
Head hanging in forsaken sadness,
Praying for those responsible.

Forgiveness granted in absence of understanding,
All past and future wrongs laid on agony's shoulders.
Torture spikes of indignity piercing bleeding hands,
Enduring that crucifixion to save all us sinners.

Female sexuality
Fanatically robbed
Fraught with violation
Forever left in shame.
Folds of indignity
Forceful invasiveness
Fulfilling love denied.

*I feel very strongly about this topic.
Have been meaning to bring it up.
This Pleiades is short but meaningful.

The whimper of a defenseless child weak and haunting can fill the cup, of melancholy to age a grail of tears. The squeal most animal like as heart is pierced by betrayal a declaration ..almost too real. The bawl of hunger and indignity the red-faced rage of entitlement, the dry-eyed warning hail of men from battlements, so many, variations, so many wet displays, so many maudlin melodies of man and his betrayal…

Mythical, Menacing Crow
Black spright as dark as night
Dark wizard eclipsing the light
Menacing vandal from perch alight
With guile give wing to flight
All of the airy spirits to spite
Your jealous suitors with envy requite
Spread ebony cape; your brigand kite
From eerie heights with steely eyes blight
With devilish caw a quaking fear incite
With razor-sharp talons ignite the sparring fight
With sharpened beak your helpless foe smite
Then with callous indignity glide over rendered plight...

A Path
When I come
I cannot stay;
When I go
I lose my way.
When I think
I get confused;
For what I find
Keeps me amused.
I've often felt
The gift of pain;
The song it sings
Is an endless refrain.
I pity all those
Who pity me
For we all share
Life's indignity.
The hands of time
Have crossed my face;
But I'm not willing
To slow the pace.
A night, a day
No time to lose;
Right or wrong
A privilege to chose.
I am in love
With all I see;
The mystic truth
Of eternity....

Years Ago
Flattered teen man glitterati,
an echelon. Wouldn't you bow?
An axis of glittering damsels.
Pedestal of my clan… the authority!
I clawed the sky; I climbed so fast!

Feasible, get-at-able, so she slides in.
Naive me… the hero of Lassie.
I am suave to the Angel of fantasies.
I murmur, I tremble.

Glimpses of commitments, now a subpoena,
flawed my majesty, winks indignity at me.
Had I known a decemvir earlier?
Get me the clock, let me rewind it.
No Mom! I need rebirth....
