The Racehorse
That horse ain't wild
Though he's as wild as they come
Defying stern expectation
Deciding when to run

Now we will choose for him
His spirit broken in due course
Though there still is something wild
About that racehorse...

Holy War
Blood of Christ you cleanse us
And from our sin You save
Who will now save us
from the Holy War they rave
Love of God and Love of Man
If to them were explained
I think then in due course
the Brutal Blood Bath would wane...

A Stack of Trouble
A quirky young farmer named Ted
Used haystacks instead of a bed.
His wife in due course
Applied for divorce
'For that was the last straw!' she said.

Mythomaniac
The words stumble from her lying
Mouth while her obtuse mind struggles
For likely continuity.
In due course the lie emerges
Full-blown, ready for deceiving
An innocent, unsuspecting
Host singled-out as the target.
This pathological liar
Fabricates the fundamentals
In a way that’s favorable
To her in case she is challenged.
There is no motive to look for
Because there really isn’t one.
She must lie and she’s good at it....

Salvation
Hollow dreams and empty screams, nothing but dust, rust, and blood soaked efforts dried up and crust, kicking up a fuss. When I wonder, nothing but plunder after plunder, the bank account tumbling, and rumbling down its due course to its death after it has come apart fumbling. Alas, the end is nigh, when we will sit up high, looking down and around, at the people on the ground, when we no longer touch the dirt with our scarred feet; the day we become found....

Coming Back Home
Countless falling of leaves bit by bit,
Out of my window I stare everyday.
Memories of my home haunts me,
In the lonely hours of the day.
Nevertheless I console my soul,
Gonna meet everyone soon.
Bewildered and puzzled,
After all its been ages.
Counting days and nights,
Knowing that my home is sheer fine.
Home where my soul lies,
Often in my dream I cherish,
Me, the most happiest I suppose,
Entering my home in due course.

Nothing Gold Can Stay
Nature has a way of lending then transcending
every season in due course has her own remorse
When summer flowers faint, without constraint
the Autumn leaves assemble and then disassemble
Sunshine gives her glows, then hard to hold it goes
even starlight in the sky with the dawn it has to fly
In the night the moon is swept but by day it is inept
like the golden poppy's way, nothing gold can stay
No, nothing gold can stay...
