Morning Coffee Tanka

Morning Coffee Tanka

My morning coffee
Must be hot as hell itself
Yet heavenly sweet
I sip it ambrosia
Transporting me away

Premium Member A SUN ALTERING DAY

A SUN ALTERING DAY

Cool morning rain fell,
Hot rising sun rose…yelling…:
“Hell…it's summer time…”

Later in the day,
It became as hot as Hell
Down here on the Earth:-

Ice Water In Hell

the
sweet hands of victory
shall
ring
the bell
while
the soul to keep
the
grave shall weep
the
voices from
the
depths of hell
said
we want ice water
because
it's hot as hell

Hot As Hell

even though
the people
all the way down here
still
asking for ice water
to drink
and
to cool down
the
blood in their veins
man
it is
hot as hell
down here
just
because
the
devil is a liar

Home Here

Here is my home, swell,
It is where I do dwell,
I fit into this 'burb real well,
In summer, hot as hell,
I sit here with my coffee,
To gaze at society,
You do appear strange to me,
Want to know what I think about thee?
My home is here, all is well,
I fit into my little town real swell!

Stairs of Fire

"It's hot as hell in here...."
"It's always like this for me...."
She ascends the flames
He's left at the bottom
A staircase of light
Flames have ignited
She doesn't know
This time they are real
There is no saving her
His gift is letting her go
Her life has been this
Maybe they'll go out when she does.... Maybe....

What a Pity

Without you i'm crying every night, what a pity
I want to play in your hair like a kitty
your hair is soft like butter
Your eyes are bright like water
Your voice is soft like feather
Your body's warm like leather
No way,it is like a heater
No way i'm just a liar
your body's hotter than fire
Your body's as hot as hell
Far more than i can tell

Life As a Bearded Dragon

Let me tell you something
I live in sand
No water barely any food
Strong as a dragon
I have a beard still not old
I eat bugs all day , everyday
Always hiding from predators nowadays
I can't go to Antarctica
I'll die with a brain freeze
My skin is as rough as an alligator
Don't touch me I bite
I only can stand heat that is hot as hell
I may look like a wizard
I'm actually a lizard

Sentiments of Time

A flame
A flame burning day and night,
Night and day.
Always burning.
Turning and burning.
Always the same.
Yet...always a new flicker,
A new wind,
A new Light.
Changing always in the same image.
Dancing in the moonlight.
Swaying through time.
Burning brighter,
Than the highest star.
Hot as hell itself.
But now you burn,
Like the dawns first ray,
Fading, fading,
Until,
Finally,
The flame burns out.

Broken

BROKEN
My heart in pain for broken it is:
The keeper of my heart left it's gate and eloped with it's key
The pain in my heart not so plain
It drained my sobs and tears
Couldn't scream
Couldn't shout
Couldn't Smile
Couldn't cry
Faking smiles physically
Producing gallons of tears Emotionally
My heart like a broken bottle
Can't be fixed
Can it?

My heart as hot as hell
Burning with pain
But still my smile remains....

Premium Member For the sheer Hell of it

Listen to poem:
Hell hath no fury, when all Hell breaks loose,
Yet come Hell or high water, I’ll press on regardless,
For the sheer Hell of it, though I'm as hot as Hell.
I'm Hell bent, I'll fight like Hell, with all Hell to pay,
Having a Hell of a time, raising all Hell on earth,
On the road to Hell and back again, until I get the Hell outta here,
Then, Hell will freeze over, and Hell's bells will ring and chime,
Leaving me stranded, between the devil, and the deep blue sea.
