Anew

I will have to start it all new
At thirty two, at thirty two,
Selection process isn't due
Til you decide that it is due.

Paying Forward

Hope is not a strategy,
wisdom not an end
Moment to moment we live the truth
—borrowing to lend

Lovely Wishes

in certain cases,
the wisdom of the ninety,
body of twenty
a heart of three years, as well.
sometimes, my wishes to have

Note: today, I read a nice text (the above wishes). I rewrote it with little editing.

Premium Member Hope's Burning Flame

Advisable for everyone would be

Hope's bright flame in his heart to keep burning,

If wishes, fear, and darkness disappear

And true to be each of his soul's yearning!

Tribute To the Poet, Edwin Markham

Yesterday Edwin, you wrote of the hoe

Today we write of the tractor.

Yesterday Edwin, a man faces the ground

Today he reaches for the starts.

Yesterday Edwin, an aching figure stands alone

Today hands reach around the world.

Harbinger of Hope

The spoken word is a harbinger of hope.
A mechanism to mitigate my melancholic mind.
I wish nothing more than to spew words of wisdom
While I tell my stories to the stars,
Hoping that my words echo onto the morning sky
And remain written in the clouds for all to see.

Death
is a dark, black storm that most fear
coming to take all that we have
but, tragedy is an illusion
why cry, when we can smile about it
there is nothing to fear, it's natural
all tales that begin will eventually end
even if they last 100 years
stand up, embrace it
and live with all you got

High Hopes

Soul singed and burnt nerves,
Beer batter and deep fry hopes.

Deluge of sorrows, flood of fears
Wipe those tears, have dry hopes.

Walk through the shadow of doubt
Climb a mountain, touch the sky hopes.

You stomp on my dreams,
But you won’t crush my hopes.

The sky won’t fall today,
Held up by so many high hopes

Keep Going

As I get behind myself I must rewind myself.
I can’t go too fast. Yet, not too slow.
There are many things to be achieved in this life. I must grasp them.
So many things are out of my reach.
Motivation keeps me going.
I must not give in to the temptations of my mind telling me that I can’t do it.
I can.
I will.
And not stop! There’s no stopping here.
I have to keep going.

Abrupt often comes the end
Freedom awaiting with open arms
Time we know waits for no one
Earthly comforts we'll leave behind ~
Recalled to our celestial home
Lessons learned along the way
Infinite wisdom within our reach
Faith in what's behind that dark curtain
Entangled thoughts barrage of hope and fear

Hope To Rise Again

Hope to rise again

Rise up, ye who are tired.

Out of the pit of despair,

Use hope as a compass.

You should pray for courage.

Observe the horizon,

Do not give up,

Because hope will give you courage,

Your cup will be filled with bravery.

Never fear, and have courage.

Because hope never dies,

You'll be glad you did,

and assist you in ascending.

So, my weary soul, get up.

Who's To Say

one lonely soul
and entire world's stress
how Hell be different

one lonely heart
temptation abounds
how to earn salvation

one lonely mind
and wealth of knowledge
what’s the purpose of life

many questions
scriptures and sages
who is there to answer

love, hope, wisdom
truth, trust, fate or faith
what would salvage my soul

Dirty Hands

Your dirty hands upon me.
I tremble at the thought.
Begging let my spirit free.
The mad militia I have fought.

Love still binds my heart to you,
despite the freely dripping blood.
Your presence on a raging coup,
leaching my shell changing blue.

Ripping the loaded gun so cold
from your hot and beating hand.
You tackle me to the floor I fold.
Tis a miracle I land.

I am one and one with God.
Through him the hand we have declawed.

Premium Member PLUM- Peace, Love, Understanding, Mercy

If I could wake one morning to the plum desired by most people on this Earth, prayers and wishes then would be fulfilled for all to share the miracle of birth. Where peace would be the goal of every soul ruled by a love that dominates each heart where understanding is the rule of law while mercy shown to all will do its part. If all could be in rhythm with this drum to march, achieving then that perfect plum.
