Premium Member Old Age and Ache

Old age and ache
Foot on brake pad
The shake stressing

Tibia’s throb
The knees nob and
Hobnob ankle twinge

Perhaps the doc
Takes off sock and
It’s all a crock

No thank you pain
Be no cane or
Slight strain of pace

Premium Member Hobnob on Cob Knob

Bob Cob, from Cob Knob, liked to hobnob, as an odd job.

Rob Knob, also from Cob Knob, liked to knob bob, on Bob's cob!

But, Bob Cob, on an odd job, got his cob bob, from Bob Blob.

So, Rob Knob, mad at Bob Cob, gave his knob bob, to Bob's cob!

Premium Member A Poet Named Bob

I once knew a poet named Bob.

Some folks consider him a snob.

      But that ain't true;

         If him they knew,

They would surely with him hobnob!

Hobnob

Poems are pointless
Poets are dense
To filter expression
Through meaningless lens
If I'm feeling sad
Yet tell you I'm blue
Do my words really have
a deeper meaning to you
Blue skies turn gray
The clouds will never pass
I think that I shall
Take an umbrella to class

Job Application

How I apply for this job?
With you to hobnob?
I wouldn't know what to say,
Probably turn and walk away,
Have a small fantasy today,
Fantasies are good for chicks, I say,
Quite normal and healthy,
Never say you're my fantasy,
Really a bit absurd,
Ode from a giggling girl.

Santa's Stocking Scuttle

The Judiciary would not budge
For Lawrence van Dyke was a smudge
He knew not his job
But how to hobnob
So Trump made him a lifetime Judge

The Whistleblower's indirect goal
Was to stop Donald Trump burning coal
By some miracle
Trump's stocking is full -
Just reward for selling his soul?

Somethingness

SOMETHINGNESS Ugly, shapeless, formless: Amoeba metamorphoses into concrete images; Dark, void, hollow-hearth: Dim cave metamorphoses into residence of light. Dungeon beggar hobnob palace princes: Nothingness metamorphoses into somethingness
