Frank Halliwell
The road is long, the job is tough,
Success is hard to find.
The goal seems always out of reach
For most of our mankind.
While most will say, 'It can't be done! '
A few will say, ' I can! '
The difference between the two,
...The measure of the man.

The Crow
The Crow
by Frank Halliwell..
He's cursed by men from sea to sea,
He's hunted and exiled.
He's hated by most everyone,
And everywhere, reviled.
His morals are not those of men,
Nor will our wishes change him,
He's bold as brass! - He's black as night!
He's just as his god made him.

The Tree
The Tree
Frank Halliwell
This ancient leafy giant
that's endured three hundred years
Seems to tremble as the chainsaw.
through it's heartwood rips and tears.
It stood tall when the 'Endeavour'
plied these golden coasts of old,
And gazed down as Bourke and Wills passed by
on expeditions bold.
But now it lies, a shattered thing,
among the forest litter.
A sacrifice to ancient lust for
things that gleam and glitter.

Come By Chance
RHYMER FRANK HALLIWELL SENT ME POEM
BY FAMOUS AUSSIE BANJO PATTERSON,
ABOUT A MYSTERIOUS COME BY CHANCE TOWNSHIP,
THAT DON'T EXIST....
to Frank
so come by chance becomes a poem,
for the dreamers of the garden gnomes,
till the witless in their folly,
give up this ghasty dance,
and the sheep do run it terror,
from their romantic advance,
bleating c'mon termorrer,
it's our only Kiwi chance,
begorrah...
