I took my junker to the body shop
My belly poking out of my tank top
Intake guy looked up from his laptop
Sayin' ~ 'Your car or you, Pop?!'
Had A Gut Feeling Horn Haiku
have a gut feeling
God did give us sinful Trump
as pure punishment

Do you have any better ideas or excuses?
There was a diner cook in South Hupper
whose food was bad from breakfast to supper.
Tried to make it right
sadly lost the fight
when shot dead by a poisoned up-chucker.
Bob
I'll call him Bob
children run
by and ask me
what happened
did I get pregnant?
no, I tell them.
I'm a guy.
it just happens with
age
then I laugh
when they begin
to wonder if they'll
get sagging bellies
too.
My loss led me to confront
the consequences of my reckless emotions.
For you are still clutching to my heart,
stabbing into my soul like that of a dagger.
Please let me go
and live out my destiny...
...Our foretold fate.
people go to psychics and ask questions ...i
f they truly believe in the answers ...
it comes to pass ...through expectation of it ...
seek and you will find the person with the cute behind
so you are torn in two directions
go with your gut feeling ...its right
viscera wound tighter
than the tightest rubber ball
never mind bouncing off the walls
guts like a pinball machine
an arcade between the ears
with tilt alarms screaming

Courage to write
Starts inside
Trusting your cadence
Your pain your smile
Your anger your light
Your sense (s)
The gut that’s yours
Inside, moving,
Struggling through the blindness
To move forward
Towards your voice
True, trusting, honest
Start somewhere
Start here
Start now
What did you think on that day
Did it shock you wanting to get away
Have you seen the ending
When the result was never ending
And you stood there wondering
Where the sight of it all was engendering
So you knew then it would not go away
It would be in your mind just fading to grey.

That's all It may be
but this has meaning
it's an evil clenching
a feeling: fencing
a battle of body and mind
but you're to decide
Something you read
and you skim and skim
again and again
and your in pain
your stomach hurts
and you go insane
you hold in a laugh
but not for long
you blank out...
and you walk away
Go with your gut instinct
Don't force communication
Keep them short and succinct
Don't fool your emotions
They be alluring and distinct
Doesn't mean there's a link
If feeling a bit on edge
Leave it on the ledge
Ain't gotta make no pledge
If they constantly make you think
The feeling just ain't right
Don't give it any fight
Stay out of their sight
I don't have to explain myself
I know my tasks
I know my present
I know my past
I trust my thoughts
I follow my gut
I know when to talk
and when to shut up.
I don't need your opinion
I don't need your attention
I don't need your pity
I don't need your protection
this is my domain
not your extension
I've been always on my own anyways
without your affection

You should always trust your gut.
Ignore advice that starts with, “But…”
And let that door swing slowly shut
That leads to other ways.
For if you heed a different voice
And give in to another choice,
Most likely you will not rejoice
Since caving rarely pays.
It’s true, your gut may steer your wrong
But when that inner pull is strong,
Where it may lead’s where you belong,
For instinct rarely strays.
I had my father's face
his mouth and eyes
his thin skinned heart.
Though those features have melted
and are smeared by old age.
I sometimes wonder if he ever had my
genetically maimed gut.
He never knew me
nor I him,
but I carry my mother's pain
her long gut-aching loss,
but her loss and mine
were never the same.
You can't mend a loss
you cannot name
and she could not shed
her gut-wrenching death wish
until it came for her.
What you feel in your gut
Can’t be called right or wrong
For your gut’s where the strongest
Emotions belong.
Both your brain and your heart
Filter feelings you hold,
Which may soften or change
Based on things you’ve been told.
But your gut takes the kick
And the way you react
May determine if you
Can survive it intact.
With a poke from your brain
And a nudge from your heart,
You can temper the kick
Without falling apart.
On that dark and dismal road
just me and him.
Inside me, something is screaming
can you hear me
will you hear me
do you dare me
weird, supernatural aura
intangible, formless
floating there in my gut
scattered butterflies
fluttering
frenzied
frantic
in a dark deep barrel
there is no escape.
As we pass by each other
he raise his hand,
a threat.
everything within me stopped
silenced by fear
petrified.
He laughed mockingly
and walked on.
Your 1st
Initial thought that spring's to mind
Your Gut Instinct
Tell's you
In response to your opinion on any given question
Is your Truth
Thinking thereafter
Will only disseminate your Truth
And over a period of said time
Will be turned into a Lie
You then have to remember
If someone should ever
Ask you the same question over again
And you then appear
Not a deliverer of Truth
But just another Convenient
Liar
B erry tasty; each bite a treat

R egale for my lips and tongue

K ingly fare, fresh, and mouthwatering
E ssential with cup of coffee
Most days you ooze cockiness from your chest
but I've a feeling that during dark times
you pray to that somebody or something...
That somebody or something
that's creating at the speed of light.
The same speed that our souls travel at.
When shot out of this life and into the next.
This belief didn't come from tea leaves or tarot cards.
It came from my star-dusted gut.
We will all meet the universe maker someday.
In the near future, at the entrance to an ancient star gate.
