Premium Member Bubbles from the Moon

She blows the prettiest bubbles from the moon.
Adorable! Said an antelope, who acts like a goon.
She is probably coming back to earth, and I mean soon.
This was stated by a gossipy grandpa baboon.

Premium Member dowdy drab doris

Doris was dowdy, drab, and draggle-tailed too
Forever frumpy, frightened, a failure, at age thirty-two
Jaundiced, juicy-gossipy, jealous, and July jailed
Slovenly, slithery, shipwrecked, her moment had sailed.

Flibbertigibbet

It's a good question; whom we can call it; possibly a person who is irresponsible, constantly talks too much, a flighty scatterbrained psyche; It's a slang term, for a person who is gossipy.

I once heard an old, gossipy rat

Whose desire was to live in my flat,

So kitty got her way

They’re buddies to this day,

And party on gin for a chit-chat

Premium Member She Is the Chw

She is the CHW and we need to fear her more than Rum the Gun.
I hear she eats chickens by the handful, this is said by everyone.
Does CHW stand for anything special? I asked my informed host.
Corpulent hog witch, said the well intentioned gossipy ghost.

Premium Member Two Ladies Having Tea

Two Ladies Having Tea in a very floral flat; looking out at the sea with Bea, the cat. Peonies and roses adorning the room; lend an air of symmetry on a spring afternoon. A gossipy moment among good friends; a moment that Bea hopes with cat treats, will end.

Premium Member Lunch Hour Redemption

A mercury-free tin of tuna fish
bolted down, gagging all the way
To the accompaniment of gossipy lips
a revolting noon hour this hot day

A walk inside COVID's masked prison
did not appeal to me either
Tossed the tin in the can with a certain elan
Farewell, tuna fish; unleashed, my inner Tarzan

Premium Member Hippo Hannah and her Groom

Hippo Hannah was as giddy as a wild horse that was loose
Today she was going to become the bride of her favorite goose.
I love him up and down and around and through she said.
His brother stepped in when the groom turned up dead.
Luckily the bride, Hippo Hannah never learned the truth.
She was never told this, even by her gossipy neighbor, Ruth.

Premium Member Fragmented Soul

splintered dreams

images faded and torn

with emotions worsening

with time

greatness questioned

as original intent swathed

by gossipy stares create

feelings of dismay

enter doubts of one’s

self-esteem causing

victim like symptoms

with no foreseeable end

to this long and

shadowed

catastrophe

pieces of la-la land

forever falling

Oh dear
Did you hear?

Odd tale
Rumour bails

Bad things
In mad fling

Loud hiss
Naughty kiss

Foul mood
That's not good

Ruin sinks
In vile brink

Verge edge
On lost ledge

Who knows
Half truths grow

Mad page
Sly words stage

Hear that
Gossip fat

Leave now
Don't ask how!

Our Gossipy Lips Have a Zip

Our gossipy lips
Have a shutting zip:
The flying words we quip
We can their wings clip
And the speeches we hasten
On some muteness fasten …

Come the killing desire to gossip
Find some diverting juice to sip
Or restraining wisdom grip,
So that our tongues wouldn’t slip.

Our lips Gossips richly moisten,
As listeners’ eyes fully glisten:
But victims empower to raise hell
By hundred times A Warning Bell.

Premium Member the jacks are frolicking again

The jacks are frolicking again I heard TomTom yell.
We ran outside to see the result of the witches’ spell.
Jack-o-lanterns were sitting quietly not doing a thing.
Come on! Dance! Yelped TomTom, and do it with zing.

The jacks sat silently, not moving the least little bit.
TomTom stomped off angry after throwing a baby fit.
Gossipy cat was not happy, and frankly, neither was I.
I had been in the middle of eating my warm pumpkin pie.

A Gossipy Christian To His Pastor

Pastor, I know every church member,
Who during your sermon would slumber
And could supply you the entire snoring number,
If you badly want it this November
Or much later in December:
When distractions will lessen and you’d remember
One of them, a barrister with Onward Chamber,
Supposedly doing well here in Pemba…
Still note, of discord, I fan no ember
Nor entreat you to them dismember,
Jesus and I sure it won’t last like the Sun’s rare penumbra.

Jezebels Seduction

Off she took her leathery cap
For an apparently sought nap
She had secured with a milky pap,
Her decided pillow Bob’s lap
But with her trousers’ flap
Open like Satan’s trap,
Thus, her sleep intentions making a crap
And she a target for Christian Mother’s slap,
On her head an upset father’s rap
And, sure, a child’s gossipy clap…
Between her and honesty of purpose, a gap
Bob as simple as a candy wrap
On the whole, a Jezebel’s seduction
By Anita, member by induction.
