Notes About The Poem

Fragmented Soul

splintered dreams

images faded and torn

with emotions worsening

with time

greatness questioned

as original intent swathed

by gossipy stares create

feelings of dismay

enter doubts of one’s

self-esteem causing

victim like symptoms

with no foreseeable end

to this long and

shadowed

catastrophe

pieces of la-la land

forever falling

I'm sure we have all been down this rabbit hole- some of us more than once. The "long and shadowed catastrophe" sucks in many people, like a blackhole. Praise God there is a way out. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for your comment, Michelle. Unfortunately, life has its dark side, yes, praise God, there is a way out.

This could have been put in an "eggshell", because in order to make an "omelet" one must break a couple "eggs". your friend in the pen/G.FIELDS

A poem, of an unforgiving world or its human race, what ever, that's how i read this amazing gem of poetry.
