Lunch Hour Redemption

A mercury-free tin of tuna fish
bolted down, gagging all the way
To the accompaniment of gossipy lips
a revolting noon hour this hot day

A walk inside COVID's masked prison
did not appeal to me either
Tossed the tin in the can with a certain elan
Farewell, tuna fish; unleashed, my inner Tarzan

G’day Gershon … ah well, you might need to eat a couple of cloves of garlic to help your breath - good one Gershon - Lindsay

Gosh, I'm a one-clove-garlic man, Lindsay. Have been all my life. Think just one clove will clear out that tuna?! lol. Smiles, Gershon

I imagine your breath would be torture inside that mask. : )

Ahhhh eee ahhh! Cute one Gershon. I can picture you swinging through the trees, tuna sandwich in one hand with a determined look on your face. Go get 'em. God Bless my friend, JB

That must be some picture you drummed up there, Judy! I'm about as much of a Tarzan as Greta Thornberg is. Take care, Gershon

Mercury-free, but what about the plastic/plastique lunch bombed? Aloha! Rico

Well, I guess I was one out of two on the environmental watch there, Rico. Thanks, gw

Well from now on I'll think of you as Tarzan because you tossed the tin in the can, with style and enthusiasm and bid the tuna fish farewell! You have pizzazz Mr. Wolf! Nice one my friend! Hugs and blessings,, Jennifer.

Ha, ha! Thanks for the enthusiasm, Jennifer. The fizz in my pizzaz could use a little carbonation boost. (though I suppose that's bad for the environment). Cheers, gw
